Such a beautiful location and wonderful home! From the moment we walked in we were speechless. The host thought of every little detail and our family would love to make this an annual visit! If you are thinking about booking…DO IT!!

We loved our stay here! The home is at the end of the road by the boat launch, so it’s pretty secluded. Definitely worth staying here!

Beautiful location and lovely house. Spacious and light. Fantastic backyard on pond with fence and large yard for pooch. Birds, frogs, fish, deer, swans, geese--we saw all of these in our short 18-hour stay. If we could have, we would have stayed a week. The weather was very warm at 87 degrees, but house was super-cooled by new air conditioning units. Bed super comfy. Heather is very responsive to all requests or questions. Loved loved loved!

Great location. Loved the kayaks. The house is amazing and we had plenty of room. The river is really not swimmable but pretty to look at.

Beautiful, peaceful, serene - Sandra's place was comfortable for all our guests and was super well stocked with everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Highly recommend if you are looking for a slower pace weekend getaway.

what a beautiful place! The house is nicely done and well equipped. We loved spending a day on the lake with the pontoon. In addition, John and Kevin have two kayaks at the house that we enjoyed using. And we spent our evenings sitting at the fireplace and looking onto the lake. We had the best time here, thanks for this great place!

Phenomenal stay! We had a group of 8 adults, and the space accommodated us beautifully and comfortably. The home is a recent build with an open-concept main floor and half bath, plus 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms upstairs. The kitchen is truly the heart of this home, featuring a large island with six cozy stools perfect for cooking, eating, and connecting as a group. We loved the screened-in porch with a grill, the outdoor deck, and the garage stocked with water toys. Everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished. The host offers fun tips and is quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend for any group of families or adults looking for comfort, style, and functionality.

Very nice home that has an intimate but not small feel to the common space on the first floor. Lots of room on the dock for a boat and the small beach area is perfect for wading into the water. Teenagers loved the sun deck and the paddle boat and my son had a good time fishing. Great place for a family or group.

We had a wonderful stay! This was our first vacation with our 10 month old. The bed rooms were a bit tight for a pack n play but that’s my only negative about James’ beautiful place. It was clean, decorated well and we could walk EVERYWHERE! I’d recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in New Buffalo.

What a wonderful stay our family had in Michiana Shores, Indiana at Greg’s place. Even though 2 of the 3 days were mostly overcast / rain, there was still plenty of activities to do. We hung out in the pool & hot tub areas multiple times, had a fire every night, and cooked all 3 meals each day in the wonderfully maintained kitchen. The kids loved their room setup with the bunk bed and twin bed. The parks nearby are lovely. The backyard was very luscious with tranquility full of greenery and peacefulness. Greg was very responsive and helped us out with questions before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend this spot if you are wanting to take a vacation near the nationally known Indiana Sand Dunes. Overall 5+ stars!

This is our second year staying at this house and we are already preparing to make it a third year! Great house and conveniently located to everything we need! Great hosts and perfect neighbors!

Jacson was a super responsive host!! The house is spacious, the deck is also spacious and gorgeous, and the hot tub is huge!! We really had an amazing weekend with our gaggle of girls. Lots of beds and couches and towels, too!!

The hosts were extremely helpful and were more than accommodating for my friend’s bachelor party. I would most definitely stay there again.

Comfortable & peaceful home right on the lake! We enjoyed the cottage for several days while visiting family nearby. It was a great place for our family of 4.

We had a fabulous weekend at Karen's cottage. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect getaway from the city noise. Her thoughtfully curated home felt like stepping into a quaint 70's oasis. The home backs up to a heavily wooded area and our pup could not get enough!

What a beautiful place! My wife, teenage daughter, and I had a great stay on Barton Lake. Everything looked exactly like the photos and the description on AirBnB, plus Alanna left us some coffee and s'more fixings! There were two full bathrooms, and three bedrooms - with the one downstairs having four bunk beds. My daughter chose to stay on the main level in the other bedroom with the double bed. The place was modern/updated with lots of conveniences, like new appliances in the kitchen, central air-conditioning, gas fireplace, and giant windows overlooking the lake. Outside, there were deck chairs, firepit, kayaks & paddleboard, charcoal grill, yard games, and the lake has a soft sandy bottom so no need for swim shoes. We had an excellent stay at Alanna's place and I'm looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful cozy home very peaceful right on the water where you can fish or feed the turtles& frogs!

We came into town for a wedding and brought our 2 dogs and wanted to stay someplace safe and quiet and we definitely found that with Edgar’s home. The location was easy to find and it was nice to have private parking right along the lake. The access to the home was easy and the home nicely is decorated with every amenity you need to cook your own food. Views from the home are lovely and we went out onto the dock and spent time on the private beach a couple of the nights we were there. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of towels, which I appreciated. Location makes it easy to get into town for grocery shopping and there is a brewery in town that makes great smash burgers called Useless Creatures. We walked around the neighborhood a couple of times and we also found a great hiking spot to take the dogs very nearby. Overall, a very comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

We had a wonderful stay! Emma was extremely communicative and accommodating throughout, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The house was beautifully located right on the lake with easy access to a sandy beach, absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was clean, well-stocked with all the essentials like towels and sheets, and clearly well cared for. I also appreciated that the cleaning fee was genuinely used for cleaning, no over the top check out chores, which was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful home on the lake. The view, host, amenities and the home are all top notch. We had eight people in our group and there was plenty of room for all. We had free access to a canoe and kayaks, life jackets of every size, many outdoor lawn games, a grill, a portable fire pit, bicycles, etc. There were plenty of towels, dishes, cookware, etc. For us, it was well worth the money, and we would definitely rent this home again, without hesitation.
