The house is surrounded by the greenery of the Tuscan countryside, among olive groves and vineyards. It has a very large private garden, with a jacuzzi, barbecue and private parking. Inside you will find a large living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, two with a shower. It is located in the municipality of Vinci, an ancient medieval village. It is known to be the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. Vinci is only 30 minutes from Florence, 10 minutes from Empoli and Cerreto Guidi, 50 minutes from Lucca and an hour from Siena.

The property is a portion of a 16th Century Casa Colonica (a typical Tuscan farmhouse) situated atop a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and sprawling views of the surrounding hills. The village of San Vincenzo a Torri and of Ginestra Fiorentina are respectively 2km away grocery and bakery stores, pharmacy, bank, restaurant, news stands, and petrol stations are within minutes from the house. Only 16km (10miles) to Florence the toll free highway is 3km from the house. Car is a must.

From here it is easy to get around Tuscany, both by train and car. We are 36 km from Florence and 52 km from Pisa. Empoli is a town with a pleasant historic center, and is close to Vinci.
