Holiday houses in Dol

Nous avons passé 3 jours dans l’appartement de Tonci. L’endroit est très calme et la vue depuis la terrasse est très belle. Situé à 5 minutes en voiture du port des ferrys et de la ville de Stari Grad. Nous recommandons !

Casa molto grande, praticamente divisa in tre appartamenti separati con una piscina davvero ben fatta. Alen e i suoi amici sono stati molto disponibili e premurosi per non farci mancare niente.

Wir hatten eine fabelhafte Zeit. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön und zu Fuß ist man in ein paar Minuten am Meer. Goran und Janica waren immer ansprechbar, haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns mit super Informationen versorgt! Wir würden auf jedenfall wieder kommen.

Ivo and his wife was so helpful and fast to respond to messages. They made us feel so at home and were incredible hosts. The place was high up on the mountain and it was so private, peaceful and tranquil. The views from the property are incredible. The infinity pool is fantastic which also has the fantastic views. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The property is very well equipped for cooking with a hob and outdoor grill. The town of Marina is about a 20 minute drive with a great selection of bars and restaurants and also a supermarket. Enjoyed our trip very much would highly recommend and I will definitely be back. Unser Aufenthalt auf Hvar war traumhaft – und das lag nicht zuletzt an dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft. Alles war genau wie beschrieben! Die Wohnung war blitzsauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist fantastisch und ruhig! Den Kaffee am Morgen mit Blick aufs Meer zu genießen, war einfach ein Traum. Und die Sonnenuntergänge beim Abendessen – unvergesslich schön! Die Strände in der Nähe sind sauber, das Wasser kristallklar und die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend. Die Gastgeberin und ihr Mann waren sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar – man spürt, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr ganz sicher wieder – danke für diese wundervolle Zeit auf Hvar! 💛

We had a lovely stay at the house. The kids enjoyed the pool. Everything was there, including the neighbours friendly cat. You do need a car but everything is just a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this to others or come back ourselves!

We had an amazing stay in Hvar at Carsten's old stone house. It is located in a small village so it is perfect for a peaceful stay. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. The highlight for us was definitely the pool – perfect for enjoying tranquil mornings and relaxing evenings. Carsten, our host, was fantastic – very helpful and always quick to respond. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway in Hvar.

One can clearly see Vanja has put her heart and soul into the property. On our arrival we were personally welcomed to the property by Vanja with a small welcome gift of fruit and wine, not forgetting to mention a bottle of home made olive oil produced from Grandpa‘s olive trees. All that needed to be explained about the house was done well prior to handing the keys over. The offer of further help if needed was offered. The house was very clean and contained everything one needs for a self caterering stay, we did not have a feeling we missed anything. In fact it was immaculate and all utilities and more were made available. The small house size was perfect for 2 people, very well maintained and new quality fixtures. We loved the outdoor shower for cooling off when we returned from the beach or wherever we had been that day. The patio is of a good size (very private, cannot be looked upon) and was cozy providing a lovely view of Olive trees with an extended view of the fields and mountains in the distance. The location was perfect, 10 – 15 minute walk to Stari Grad for restaurants / shopping and a good location to explore other areas of the island by car. Stari Grad is a lovely town and a well detailed information pack produced by Vanja was on hand providing tips were to go, History of Stari Grad, best beaches, restaurants ect Grandpa’s olives is value for money in comparison to other properties and hotels on the island. The noise from the road does take a little while to get used too and we overcame this very quickly. If we ever return to Hvar again we will definitely look for availability at Grandpa’s Olives.
