Nannerth Ganol, artists retreat cottage

Nannerth Ganol is an old 16th Century farm. On our site we have The Cottage, main Longhouse with large garden and workspace for creatives. Our accommodation is busy with cyclists, walkers and music and media workers. Head into the Elan Valley and surrounding area directly from our location. It hosts people from the music industry who have come here to write/record . We are very isolated , so perfect if you want to get away from everything. You can relax/create or go explore. I also do food.

Glyndwr Bell Tent

Come and have a proper getaway from it all in our off grid bell tent. Surrounded by 1000s of acres of National Trust Common on a working hill farm, Glyndwr is secluded and wonderfully wild. Rare birds and flowers abound; wild swimming in a fresh mountain river is available close to camp. We are next door to the Elan Valley and share its International Dark Skies as well as to Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) Off the beaten track but easy to get to, you will be the only visitors on the farm.

St Mark's School

Relax and unwind in this beautiful converted 1880s school. Plenty of original school features are still on display. Situated 15mins drive from the royal Welsh show ground in Builth, 15mins from Rhayader and the Elan Valley, 15mins from Spa town Llandrindod wells, just over an hour to Aberystwyth and west coast beaches, it is the ideal location! The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

Brook View is a spacious, two bedroom, purpose built holiday home just off the A470 in Builth Wells. The bungalow is minutes away from the town centre on foot with easy access to the Royal Welsh Showground. With tasteful decoration and plentiful amenities the property really does feel like home from home. It's the ideal base for enjoying nearby beauty spots (being roughly half way between the Brecon Beacons National Park & the Elan Valley). A maximum of 2 small dogs would be very welcome.

Relax amidst the beautiful hills of mid Wales, perched up above Rhayader - gateway to the Elan Valley and yet 20-30minutes walking to the pubs, cafes and shops of the old town. A spacious converted barn refurbished with sensitivity and charm, attached to the old farmhouse (owners residence). Limited head height upstairs. Extremely peaceful and found at end of unmade track, unsuitable for low lying cars but can be navigated with care.
