The owner's aunt was very welcoming and human touch!Auntie sat in the courtyard with our family and friends at night to share her wonderful and resilient life, pushing it to travelers who love to live quietly!

Great Place to stay in Chishang, my mother and I have a great experience during our stay. Walkable distance to the bike trail and few mins biking to the main locations. The host gave us warm welcome, providing ride from/to train station. Delicious power breakfast. The room is very clean and nice. Outdoor seating was great, we enjoy our dinner with great view and breeze. Definitely will come back next time.

Really nice place by the beautiful ocean. I'm particularly grateful for their help and care when I had an accident and cut my foot by the beach. A great bunch of people here!

Very nice surrounding with the old railroad tracks turned into a park just behind - perfect for walking and cycling. Very clean and cozy. We had a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful wood structure home and an amazing host. Made such an effort to chat despite having to use a lot of google translate. So attentive to all our needs lovely fresh food and quite a spread for breakfast. Use of washing machine and 4 friendly dogs that live outside the property. This is a great spot especially if you have a car and what some traditional hospitality.

Great stay, beautiful views, and friendly community! When we arrived, the host greeted us around a nice bonfire and let us know about a local concert going on that night as well as other events going on in the area that weekend. We were also served a delicious breakfast in the morning overlooking the ocean. Would stay here again!

It's actually quite convenient nearby (convenience store, local shop... you can actually walk there) There are also bicycles to borrow in the accommodation, but we all experience Taitung's slow life by walking around:) I think it's great!Looking forward to staying again❤️

Man was so welcoming and friendly. Her English was incredible which really helped get some fantastic recommendations for the area. Man’s restaurant downstairs is called BAR OSMANTHUS, it is INCREDIBLE. Follow the restaurant on social media to make a reservation. The restaurant is about 8 seats so you may be dining with others or alone depending on the night. Man cooks and serves everything to you herself. The food is ocean to table, farm to table - everything from the area, but done in a creative way. The flavors were delicate, but powerful. We were lucky to dine with a group of three others and made some new friends! The Airbnb itself is very simple, pristinely clean, and comfortable. Thank you again, Man. We will be back!

Hsu has a beautiful traditional home with a classy Japanese architectural style. The beds are extremely comfortable and Hsu made the effort to help design our itinerary, prepare us local teas, and provide us with fresh fruits and juices from her garden. She is one of the loveliest hosts I have ever had, people like Hsu make Taiwan special! I strongly recommend this accommodation.

Even if you don't have any travel plans in advance, as long as you buy a ticket to Chi Shang, stay in the Slow Dandelion, the owner will give you enough attractions, food and dining recommendations, and even the local history. She really cares about letting guests know about the people and things in Chi Shang. You can also ride the homestay's bicycle to visit various places in Chi Shang, giving me a fulfilling four-day slow living experience in Chi Shang. The B&B is close to the station, but there are no trains passing by at night, so it is very quiet. I am sensitive to sounds, but I can sleep well. Hearing the sound of the train slowly passing by during the day is a kind of healing.

Hsu is a wonderful host - proactive, friendly, helpful, and genuinely wants her guests to have a good stay. She took me on a lovely walk around Chishang and meet some of the locals. Her place is very clean, well-equipped, perfectly located, and has a lot of history. The room itself is very spacious for one person. Highly recommend!
