Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

Tastefully furnished and full of original art with a choice of two lovely double bedrooms and a kids bunk room bed as well as a newly refurbished bathroom and a homely kitchen Dining room. The Shearing Shed - cosy barn on family farm

The Shearing Shed was an old cowshed/pig sty/shearing shed now converted into a holiday let. Open plan with log burner, fully equipped kitchen, king size bed and single bed (travel cot available), shower room and outside space with table and chairs. You are at the heart of the farm yard (please note we are a working farm and there will be animals close by!) The local taxi service is not great so please book ahead if you need a taxi transfer from the station (see pictures for list of numbers).

Relaxing retreat on the edge of the Cotswolds

The house is situated 10 minutes away from Moreton In Marsh, a beautiful cotswolds town with great train links to London, as well as being close to Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace). The village has a great pub which is 1/2 a mile down a single track lane from the studio. Guests will be welcomed by either myself, Jo or Ken. Approached up a quarter mile long driveway, this is the west wing of a large Cotswold farmhouse set in a courtyard within 12 acres of fields and is the most perfect retreat. Where possible a two nights stay over weekend please. The wing has its own private front door and is self contained. It is immaculately clean and has BT broadband wifi. Outside we have an astro tennis court and have an area beside there with chairs and table to sit and relax

A beautiful cottage for me and some friends for the weekend. Very cosy and beautifully furnished. We got a Tesco delivery to the house and just a short drive away from everything in the Cotswolds! Only downside is that the kitchen isn’t very well equipped e.g. only 5 plates for a 6 person rental. But thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay at Bakehouse studio, the perfect little spot for our weekend away. Kate was an amazing host, always responsive to any questions we had and had the space spotless for our check-in (including local biscuits which were delicious!) The location of Blockley is great, so peaceful with only birds and sheep in sight from the lovely balcony. As well as it being a short distance away of so many of the stunning Cotswold villages. I would 100% recommend and would definitely return if we ever find ourselves coming to the Cotswolds again!

This lovely Cotswold home is in a great location and is really very quaint. It is less than a five-minute walk to the train station and regional bus service, as well as numerous great pubs and restaurants that are walkable. Overall, it was a great vacation home.
