My family and I loved this place! we got to see monkeys right in our backyard! and it was walkable to some restaurants. Fers place is a great choice when visiting Manuel Antonio.

A wonderful place with a lot of peace

A absolute privilege to spend a few days here as a family. A gem of a house that felt immediately like a home. We loved the quirks and the passion for enjoyment. Top of our price range but to us it was worth every penny. Thank you Tucker.

M.A./Uvita were at the end of the trip and we didn’t get to spend as much time there. But we will definitely be back and would 100% stay at the same location or another property managed by Nico. The house was very clean and cool. Because of the rain the pool had leaves in it the night we got there but when we returned from our tour the next day the pool had been cleaned and it was refreshing and nice to chill around in the late afternoon. Nico and the property management offered excellent timely service including local recommendations, easy instructions to find things, and helping set up transportation. It was a beautiful, private stay. It was in a local town with a lot of food options. He was open to offering us rides to nearby places and to the exit of the private residence. If you don’t want to leave the house their cooking is also good!

Truly an incredible, quiet, peaceful Costa Rican experience. Great for families, especially those with younger children- space to run and play, stocked with toys, and -a true treasure in CR- has a more powerful washer and dryer for “resetting” if you’re on a longer trip and need fresh clean clothes. The road in takes courage and potentially a 4x4 if you’re not used to driving the terrain like a Tico. Hosts are among the top 1% of all AirBnB hosts globally- intuitive, clean, accommodating, extremely well organized. Cooler weather and fewer mosquitoes than in other areas of the country. Best stay we have had in many trips to the area- thank you!

Such an awesome location! The beach out front was great, the house was so perfect, lots of space to spend out! The outdoor shower was amazing! They were super helpful with getting us reservations for dinner and tickets to the park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The shared area has laundry and a pool table my kids loved. 10/10!

I can't say anything much different than all other posted reviews. Angie's Mountain House is stunning and Angie's attentiveness and hospitality is off the charts. If you are looking for a place that's off the beaten path and a way to experience true Costa Rican culture, this house in Turrialba is the one. The area is beautiful and the views from the deck are unmatched. The house is comfortable and provided all we needed for a home away from home, for my family of 6. We did have a few flies and beetles, inside and out, and there is an occasional dog barking and rooster crowing, but these are merely objective remarks and were non issues for us. After all, this house is in the mountains of Costa Rica. If driving, I would also recommend 4WD for the surrounding area, and the driveway is the most exciting part. I can easily say our time at the Mountain House will be remembered for a long time and we are already planning our return trip.

Amazing stay!!! Massi was a great host with clear instructions since the reservation was confirmed. About the house, it is just more than what he described: big spaces, fully equipped for a family, comfortable and secure, private and clean! The views, different animals and nature around the property, beautiful pool and space for our dogs to walk by and enjoy the day… Definitely we will be back! Thanks again for sharing your place, we took good care of it and hope to be welcome again!

The stay at Jaim was fantastic. So much peace and such a safe complex. You could sleep perfectly. The kitchen is also equipped with everything you can imagine. The communication was ideal, we also got a lot of help to book a tour nearby. We would come back. 10/10!

Fantastic stay! The location was perfect, with plenty of walkable restaurants nearby. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind, and we loved having access to a great pool and gym.

Excellent stay, we give it a 20 out of 10, all the details of the house, the location and the road are excellent, Mario's dad treated us super well, keep in mind that there is no wifi and the cell phone signal is very bad at times but they do work, but in general we will go again

An ideal cabin to have a weekend of peace and tranquility, very comfortable and with a nice river that passes through the property.

We needed a few days of rest away from the noise and routine of the city, and in this house we found a lot of peace, nature and tranquility. In addition to some super friendly dogs and access to basic services about 10 minutes away.

The cabin is a very quiet place that invites you to rest. The hosts have thought of many details for the best stay of their guests (appliances, board games, foosball, blankets, lanterns, etc.). It is a modern cabin with all the facilities but immersed in nature. Thank you very much for everything
