Staying at this bison ranch was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The property was quiet, cozy, and full of charm—just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. Being so close to my sister's place made it even more special. Mary was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. You can tell she truly cares about her guests' comfort. Getting to see the bison was an added bonus and made the stay even more unique. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a restful, one-of-a-kind place to unwind.

Very tidy and cozy house. Super nice and helpful hosts. Everything is beyond my expectation. Due to the dust storm, it took me much longer time and finally arrived near midnight. Andy & Lynn waited and helped me. I'm very grateful. Arthur is also a nice town. I wish I could stay longer.

The house was a perfect size for our group, clean, and comfortable. The peaceful setting was a perfect respite for what turned out to be an eventful weekend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay with our two young kids at Brian’s beautiful home. The space was clean, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful which was a perfect escape from Chicago. Our kids especially loved the cozy little nook and loved the toys and books provided. There’s no TV or WiFi (as noted in the listing), but honestly, that turned out to be a huge plus. It gave us a rare chance to truly disconnect from the outside world and reconnect as a family. Brian was an amazing host, thoughtful and welcoming. The delicious protein balls that was left for us were such a kind touch! The air conditioner worked perfectly and kept the space very comfortable throughout our stay. We would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and spend quality time together.

The apartment is lovely and this is my second time staying here while visiting my U of I student. I enjoyed the privacy afforded by it being over a detached garage. 2 notes, though they are minor: 1) The garage and entrance face an alley, so the google directions don't take you right to the door, so if you arrive after nightfall, be ready to keep your eyes open to find it. 2) The water heater is small, so you need to take quick or cool showers, or else you may very suddenly be taking a cold shower! That said, this is a very cute, very cozy and very charming private studio apartment. I hope your stay is as pleasant as mine was!

We booked this place for our two younger daughters' birthday gift, they turned 8 and 12 this year. It was an amazing experience. We also did the behind the scenes tour with the zoo. Everything was perfect. The staff, the cabin, the experience were all amazing! We have decided that we will absolutely be back next year! Our daughters loved it, and there was so much, and were so enthralled that there was no fighting, which is unusual! My husband and I slept on the sofa sleeper, so that each girl could have their own room, and it was surprisingly comfortable. The cabin is so clean and welcoming, we felt right at home. We all wished that we lived there. This is a must if you are an animal lover!

Highly recommend this home! Nice quite area that had tons of parking for my guys and very clean. Kari is a great communicator and host. Looking forward to booking again in the future when we are back in the area for work. Thanks Kari.
