Fantastic service! Me and my boyfriend were lucky to be alone in the accommodation and the lady who was there to welcome us was impeccable! Divine Breakfast, almost everything made by her! Fantastic even, a place to go back.

Our stay felt like luxury, as we do not usually stay in hotels. Such a treat to have a sumptuous breakfast each day overlooking the hills and river, our room serviced daily, the beautiful pools to relax by, friendly staff to chat with and the option of a delicious dinner. We loved our stay! We had a large room on the first floor with a large comfy bed, good bathroom and balcony overlooking the gardens, pool and hills beyond. Perfect view of the sunset too. There are a few more minor maintenance issues in the room that could do with some attention, however we paid such a fair price that we were happy to overlook these. Recommended ++

Excellent accommodation in Urrô and a great base to visit the Arouca area. The recovery of an old agricultural building is impeccable, very nice pool, especially at the end of the day with the sunset. The space is extremely clean and well cared for. The breakfast has products from a nearby pastry shop and are exceptional, especially the croissants. A special word for Monica, who welcomed us with great sympathy. We would highly recommend it.

We went to this spade to be able to relax and enjoy our last days of vacation and we really managed to rest. The pool is great, the views are very beautiful, the restaurants nearby are amazing too. The site is actually very quiet. It has a living room with a television that is where we spent our nights interacting. Sonia was also very friendly and helpful whenever we questioned something and it made us feel good. A good for the employee Sónia and the rest of the team. If you're looking for a place to hang out and get out of the mess, then this will be the ideal place. The views are very beautiful indeed. A place that we will certainly repeat. From nearby restaurants we advise Assador Barrosão, the food was impeccable and people are also quite friendly.

When coming to Portugal, I was looming for an authentic Portugese experience. The stay at Rute’s got me what I was looking for and more. Not only did I feel like at home, but also everything else was perfect. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this beautiful place and would be happy to visit again! The room, the pool, the vineyard, the fine wine and the delicious dinner were an absolute highlight of our vacation.

It went really well. We were able to access a refrigerator upon request. Small bonus for lovers of stars, you can see the Milky Way and many shooting stars.

For those who like to explore the trails of Freita/Arada, the location is excellent! Very close to wonderful pits!

A place of peace ,surrounded by Nature, where you lose track of time! A farm with little human intervention where you can live Nature in its purest state. The house is beautiful and comfortable , with the typical features of the region, the fireplace cozs rainy and foggy weather. Very comfortable and clean room. For sure, I'll be back! A wonderful accommodation with a breathtaking view over the river.

Philomene is so friendly and the space matches the expectation.

They have turned an old building atop a hillside overlooking the river into a bright hotel with elegant balconies, eating, and a pool. It's an impressive job. Being so far up the hillside (make sure your car has a good low gear) makes the views particularly impressive. Balcony access from your bedroom and also from the dining room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of nice sitting and work spaces throughout the building.

Quinta das uchas is idyllic place to disconnect and connect with mother nature! could not have been more perfect! The location is perfect, close to all the attractions that exist around there. And not to mention the leonor that was extremely dear and helpful!! Everything wonderful 😊 is to go back and stay longer….

A very pleasant stay, in a beautiful rural house in the middle of the nature of the Douro Valley. Perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the calm that is breathed in this place.

The transformation of an old building on top of a hillside overlooking the river into a stylish hotel is impressive. The possibility of enjoying delicious meals and using a suitable-sized swimming pool are differentiating factors. The location offers amazing views. It should be noted that access to the hotel is not the easiest given the state of the road leading up the hillside. The staff are very friendly and helpful having made our stay very enjoyable. Also noteworthy are the various spaces to relax in the building. It is a perfect place to rest and recharge. I highly recommend it.
