Holiday rentals with lake access in Downtown Austin

I GOT ENGAGED HERE!! Unexpectedly yes! But I got engaged here! This Airbnb will forever have a place in my heart. We stayed a few months prior for spring break and then rebooked again in late may because we loved the quirky cozy stay in the heart of the city. Little did I know this would be my engagement location. I hope to stay here again regularly. David's place truly has a special place in my heart now.

Great home base if you’re traveling to Austin. Was perfect for our bachelor party. Nice bathrooms, plenty of space, walkable to lots of interesting stuff. Place was clean and orderly, and host was very responsive.

Siren's Cove was a great weekend getaway! It had everything we were looking for in such a beautiful location. The host was easy to get ahold of and was always quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had. I would highly recommend this place for anybody that's looking for a great/quiet weekend trip!

Lovely home and beautifully decorated. We had to stay for a week for my husband’s job and I work from home. It has a cozy office with great internet and a nice patio to hang out in the evening. The home was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Our stay was amazing! Piyumi was very attentive and when having questions he responded quickly and answered my questions. The house was very beautiful and had everything we needed. With 8 guests we all had our own beds and the rooms were very clean and organized! A good plus was the park right in front of them home where there was a beautiful lake where you can fish and take walks. The neighborhood was very quiet and very nice. I will definitely come back and stay here again when we come back to Austin!

Great property! The house is well laid-out and has everything you could want for a fun weekend on the lake. We loved all the amenities and games and had plenty of space for our large group. Jacob and Leslie were awesome hosts and made sure our stay was stress-free. Highly recommend !

We loved our stay! The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch where there always seemed to be a breeze.

Excellent place to stay in Austin within a minute walk to the lake. Very nice and safe area. Short ride into downtown. Maybe 10 minutes. Lyle was very friendly and helpful. When I go back to Austin I'm going to see if this place is available.

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

We enjoyed our stay with Delta Vista, they were kind to decorate the apartment special for our honeymoon at my request. The apartment was in great condition and had all the amenities listed, we were comfortable at their place.

We try to stay here every time we come to Austin to visit family and friends. The condo is comfortable, cute and conveniently located. Luiz and Cristina always go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Definitely will be staying here again when in the area. Great private location to the apartment facing greenery. You have access to everything including the highway, not too close or far. It was well stocked up for a family of 5 for 4 days. Parking would be the only hassle as at times you have to park a ways out for the open parking. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time over in Austin at this place, visiting for work. It afforded the team enough space to get work done and be in and out for meetings. Ubers readily available, great view of the city and had everything we needed for a great stay.

The apartment was in a great location, making it easy to walk to many places. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive, always quick to assist with any requests. A reliable and convenient place to stay!

My wife and I took a short vacation away from our kids at Shelly's cabin and it was beautiful, quiet, and restorative. Exactly what we were looking for. The views of the lake are amazing and we spent hours sitting on the screened-in porch.

We were very comfortable in April’s house. It has a nice clean, open, airy feeling. Nicely decorated and the deck looks out to the water in Murphy Park, a nice place to take a walk. I loved taking care of her three chickens too!

Cozy place, ideal for a near but not in Austin getaway with friends. Very clean. New fluffy towels. Peaceful surroundings, however we were there midweek and never saw any neighbors so that may be why. Loved it was pet friendly for our pup. The one bedroom has a door that goes to the fenced in back yard which was super convenient. And the back porch was perfect for morning coffee or just to unwind in the evenings.

great host, beautiful home and right next to the lake if you wanna swim, I would definitely recommend staying here especially if your wanting to visit austin.

Silvio’s place was really awesome! We were visiting for a BMT graduation & being able to stay around the lake & make the ~1 hour commute to Lackland was worth it. The lake has lots to do around it & landscape is breathtaking. Silvio gave us a huge, detailed list of recommendations as well, which we were really thankful for! Very clean & felt right at home. Check-in was super easy. This spot is convenient if you are interested in both San Antonio & Austin, as it is a perfect halfway point between the two. Also, the beds were SO comfortable! If we return to this area of Texas again, we will definitely be booking Silvio’s place!

Stone Cottage was such a peaceful retreat for us to recharge for a few days. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and floating in the pool surrounded by nature and tons of birds. Birders- bring your binoculars! We had some gorgeous sunsets too. We didn't bring our paddle boards but it's a good spot for all levels to paddle (or kayak) just plan to bring everything down to the dock for the day so you only have to make the hike back up to the house one time- it's steep and rocky but doable. Your reward is cooling off in the pool at the end of the day.

10 out of 10!! This place is beautiful, has every kitchen amenity we could think of, super comfy beds, and a welcome basket with local things to do and snacks. Cam was a great host and we hope to come back again soon!

As I sit here and write this review I'm comparing my pictures that I took to the pictures of the rental and the more disappointed I'm getting. The pictures are nothing like what is shown for outside. The inside of the house was awesome. As for outside the grass was overgrown. The number of chairs that are shown was way less. Not to mention of the two chairs one was broke. Luckily we brought our own chairs. No corn was provided for the deer. I did reach out about the corn and was told it was in the pantry, but there wasn't any there. If you are not going to enjoy the outdoors and plan on staying inside this house is perfect. I wish there was a way to provide my pictures for reference.
