Cottage holiday rentals in Drakes Island Beach

A gem of an Airbnb! The hosts truly thought of everything and this was the perfect place to stay with two young kids; in fact, my son loved the bunkbed and toys so much he refused to go to bed every night! From the tonies box and kids toys, to all the beach and baby gear, there wasn’t one thing they lacked. The place was clean and organized and felt so cozy. I highly highly recommend this place, especially for families! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating as well.

Lovely one night stay at this sweet little cottage! Grounds are well-kept, enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch. AC kept it nice and cool. Convenient location close to a great donut shop- Congdon’s and our favorite ice scream spot- Scoop Deck. Chloe is a gracious host and even granted us a late check-out!

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay. We visited all the surrounding cities we came to Maine for. The beds were so comfy! The towels smelled so fresh. The washer and dryer were so nice to have- so thoughtful that detergent was provided! We appreciated all the cute details the cottage had to offer. My girls loved the ride on the golf cart! 10/10 stay. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely place with us!

Great clean air bnb. Accurately as described.. looks good in photos but even better in-person. Bed was comfortable. Would rent their properties again.

The house was clean and well maintained. The view was gorgeous, too bad Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. It was cold and rainy. Used the fire pit nightly and it was nice. Linens were clean, towels were soft and fluffy and smelled freshly laundered. Kitchen was spotless and well stocked with pot/pans and dishes. Having a dishwasher was nice too. Two grocery stores (Hannaford and Market Basket) were close by and plenty of restaurants too. We came with the intention of doing nothing and just changing scenery for the weekend. This place was perfect.

Great cottage with a perfect location. Not too close to the ocean but close enough. Grocery stores and other shops within a mile radius. 10-20 miles gets you to many other small Maine locations.

Everything inside was so thoughtfully designed. Anything we needed was carefully labeled and placed where you might think it would be. The cottage was cozy, and very close to the main road leading to either Ogunquit or Wells. The welcome guide was detailed and informative. Plus we really appreciated our welcome message letting us know that it’s possible to see the northern lights during the night time.

We had a fantastic time at this cute and cozy cottage! It’s within 15 minutes of basically anything in the Portland area and the cottage itself is so charming and inviting. We only wish we had planned to stay here longer!

They were accommodating, flexible, and very gracious. They had an entire binder of information with details about where to find fans, towels, flashlights, how to work the shower, heat, grill, and about anything else you can think of. It also had emergency services, restaurants, places to have a good time, and good details about checkout expectations. Overall we were extremely happy with the property and our stay, and were honored by the personalization they did for us specifically as it was our Honeymoon and they wrote us a custom note by hand for when we arrived. Highly Recommended - Will Rent Again!

We stayed at this property for 6 weeks with our dog and loved it. The neighborhood is gorgeous, walkable, and has the perfect beach for pup play. Owners are on-site, friendly, and quick to respond. The carriage house was very clean and as beautiful as pictured. We would certainly stay here again.

Another great stay at this place! It’s been consistently a great spot for us. Perfect for a walk to beach or into town. We love it and will definitely be back.

Super cute cottage! I really enjoyed a few peaceful days there on my own, it was exactly what I was looking for. It's very charming and has everything you need. Like others have mentioned, you can definitely hear the road noise so it doesn't feel totally secluded but that didn't detract from my stay. Emily was a great host, provided lots of helpful information, and very quick to respond.

Perfect little Maine cabin getaway! We enjoyed our stay so much. The cabin was clean, easy to find, and had everything we needed for four people and two dogs. Cannot recommend enough!

We had the best weekend at this place! It’s a beautiful home (in our opinion the cutest on the entire lake) in an even more beautiful area. It was a bit overcast and rained one day but the lake was surprisingly warm and we still went swimming even on the cooler day. We also used the kayaks and SUP the host provided to spend more time on the water. There were lots of board games provided that we played often. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices, pans, and even small appliances, and the toiletries provided were nice. The best part of this place, however, is the French doors that open onto the balcony. We kept them open, with the screen closed to keep bugs out, almost the entire time we were in the house. Despite being a guest house on the same property as Janath and Beth’s home, the carriage house felt very private. This has been one of our most favorite places we’ve stayed. A beautiful home that is quiet and with lake views you can’t beat. I’d recommend to anyone! You’ll love it.

Kevin’s place was outstanding! Perfect location to walk to Main Street shopping and eateries (great ice cream place next door, too). Super clean and decorated really lovely. Loved having a second bathroom! Highly recommend!

The perfect place to unwind and relax after a day spent exploring Kennebunkport! The cottage was super cozy, bed was comfortable and the hosts provided everything needed for an enjoyable stay! Dustin is a respectful & vigilant host. He’s quick to reply, & very understanding when a bad t-storm caused us delay. He met us outside & walked us right to our spot. We did not hear a peep from anyone our entire stay. When a different unit was reported for noise (which we did not hear), Dustin checked on us to make sure we were OK. Our view of the marsh was MAGICAL! I appreciate that he lives on the premises, it gave me peace of mind having him close being the sole mom with three teenage girls in tow. It was my girl’s sweet 16, & thanks to Dustin, she & her friends had the time of their lives. We’re already planning on booking with Dustin for a way longer stay in a couple of weeks! I can’t believe we lucked out with such an amazing spot for the most honest and fair pricing in the area. I can’t find fault with any part of the property. Even the parking lot was meticulously kept. I can’t possibly recommend this host enough. He more than proved why he’s a super host! TY DUSTIN!!!!!

The cottage was a perfect place to stay for our small family with a 3 year old. The location was in the middle of both beaches and downtown, about 15-20min walk to downtown center and 10min to the beach. With a small kid, we didn’t want to be in the busy dtown center so we didn’t mind walking or doing a short drive. We loved that the house came with beach gear (chairs, umbrella, towels, toys, and wagon), that saved us big time! The place was clean, cozy, had everything you need, and Elise was a great host that checked in and provided suggestions. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jane & Dan’s house. It was perfect. We felt so peaceful and relaxed during our time there. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the porch swing while the sun was setting watching the mountains, horses and sunset. Can’t wait to come back!

We were looking for a quiet place near the water to relax and unwind. Marina's place was perfect! We enjoyed kayaking, and great views of the lake whether reading on the deck or playing boardgames in the dining room on a rainy day. We'd definitely stay here again.

The view is even more stunning in person! Spent the weekend here with my family and it was breathtaking to say the least. Half of our time was spent just admiring the view because it’s that good. Cozy decor and open floor plan made it easy to settle in and feel right at home. Peaceful private neighborhood with great foliage. Perfect place for getting out on the water in kayaks, making s’mores, stargazing, and creating life long memories. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!!
