Sunset Sea View Writer’s Retreat

Beautiful flat with six sea facing floor to ceiling windows. This is a Grade II-listed building with a rare outlook over gardens and out to sea. However, the facade and railing are in need of TLC. Don't be put off by the shabby exterior. Works are being slowly undertaken to renew the outside but this all takes time. The flat may not be suitable for toddlers and young children as the windows open to the floor. No TV, but a projector is supplied. New! Insanely comfy dog bed.

We call it SeaSeat because it’s hard to drag yourself away from watching the sea in the daytime or marvelling at the sunsets at dusk. This special place is close to everything that Margate has to offer, it’s right in the old town where all the funky shops, bars and restaurants are and a couple of minutes from the Turner Gallery. It is perfectly placed on the edge of the old town so that you can be in the heart of its restaurants and bars within a 3 min walk, and yet still get a good nights sleep. It has been renovated with a 'georgian beach house' theme that combines the buildings 19C heritage with a warm bohemian charm full of raw textures.
