Rather shabby but full of character & very cosy. Port Carlisle has a faded splendour - built on the site of a fishing village, for a brief time it was a major port serving Carlisle, with its own canal & later a railway; in the 1850s the Firth silted up so ships could no longer get in. Birdwatchers, walkers, fans of history, dogs will love it!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay just on the outskirts of Lake District. With 3 well sized bedroom and gym equipment available. Separate dinning room straight off the kitchen. *Due to the nature and the age of the building, please be aware that there is a steep set of stairs to the bedrooms.* We also provide instructor lead Clay Pigeon shooting sessions on the farm to our guests to make their stay that bit more unique.
