The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the entire space felt peaceful and private. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Clear instructions were provided for check-in/check-out, and they even left a lovely welcome note and a few local treats, which was such a kind gesture. The location was perfect — quiet and safe I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Beautiful house to stay at! We all had the best time and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Heaps of room for the kids to run around and burn their energy. Great place to stay for a family holiday we had 11 of us in the house and we al had our own space and heaps of room to have dinner and watch movies all together.

What an absolutely perfect stay we had. Tamara was an amazing host, helping us organise our elopment wedding from Scotland. The house was huge and well kept. we paid to get the pool heated and it was like a warm bath - we spent ages in there and the kids loved it. If we visit again we would definitely stay there again.

We couldn’t be happier with our time at this home. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and had everything you need. The home was so convenient to the shops, a short stroll away. We stayed in April and the surrounds were very quiet and peaceful.

Frank was a great host & left simple checkin instructions. The house was as described & was excellent for a large group (16), with good indoor & outdoor entertainment areas. Slightly inconvenient having to provide your own linen given we were a large group - but this was outlined in the listing & Frank's reminder message. Would definitely stay again.

Our children especially enjoyed the opportunity to interact with and feed the farm animals, which added a special and memorable touch to the trip. Inside, the home is tastefully designed with a modern yet warm aesthetic. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the house is extremely well equipped with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to comfortable furnishings. It felt like a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend it to families!

We had a wonderful time at Sue's place. She's a great host, the box of chocolates was a delightful surprise that my kids loved it. The house is tidy, clean and cosy we loved it and our three legged pooch too. The garden is a beautiful area where I loved drink my cup of coffee in the morning.

We loved the setting and the renovations. Comfortable, warm, relaxing. We wanted a place that was close to the sights and shops of the lower Peninsula, on a quite street.

We had a great stay with our two golden retrievers. The view was amazing and we really enjoyed the house. Backyard was perfect for the dogs.

Paul has a lovely and spacious house that is extremely well priced for the location - close to the town centre as well as many of attractions of the Bellarine Peninsula. Paul was an extremely accommodating and responsive host and we would recommend his place to everyone!

The house had everything we needed for two couples. Very clean, comfortable and a relaxing place to stay. Location is pretty good. In a quiet area and only a ten minute walk down to the main shopping area, Very easy to check-in with the door code and a basket of goodies was waiting for us. The weather was cold and wet during our stay but the house warmed up quickly with the heater. We came for the National Celtic Festival over the King's Birthday weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather.

My husband and I had a very comfortable stay at Ruby’s place. The house is very clean and spacious, with well equipped and well stocked kitchen. The welcome treats are also very sweet! Will come back!

Lovely house close to everything in Portarlington. Clean with everything you need for a few nights away. Nicole was very easy to deal with and was fine with us arriving early and leaving a bit later. Thanks for letting us stay Nicole. Great place in a great location.

A beautifully presented and comfortable home. Nic had thoughtfully started the fire which was perfect when arriving for a winter weekend away. Nic also offered us a late checkout which we really appreciated.

Dixon Cottage is a lovely 3 bedroom holiday house that has everything you need to enjoy cold winter days relaxing with the family. The big open plan living/meals/kitchen area with wonderful for everyone to enjoy movies, games and meals together from a well appointed kitchen. It's just a short stroll to the Portarlington Main Street with its great cafes and gift stores with local artists craft and wear. We'll be looking out for it's availablity again for future visits to the Portarlington and the Bellarine Peninsula.

Had such a wonderful weekend away with my group of friends! It was the perfect location (close to the beach and lots of fun things to do around the area). The home was spacious, with lots of really great entertaining areas. Would definitely stay here again!

I was blown away by how beautiful the place was, and am so grateful to have spent the weekend there. Cute little cafes on the strip, gorgeous beaches and an incredibly well equipped home for all your relaxing to be done. Host was incredible - obviously cares very much about the place and the guests. I can’t wait to book again!
