Mast House, Portaferry

Mast House is located 20 seconds from the shore. It’s eclectically furnished with big, bright rooms and a conservatory, patio & garden. There’s central heating, a wood burner and a range of kitchen appliances inc coffee machine. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with roll top bath. The shower is off the kitchen. Note the property has stone steps at the front door/inside, a cast iron spiral staircase open at the top and no TV. We allow dogs subject to confirmation and a cleaning charge.

Tollymore View: Newcastle

A home away from home, in the grounds of our family holiday home, the house is just 300m away from the entrance of Tollymore Forest Park. Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

Modern one bedroom country cottage with jacuzzi

Lizzie's cottage nestles in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains close to Slieve Croob. This 150 yr old cottage has been restored bringing its facilities into the 21st century but still possessing some of those original features of a time gone by. Lizzie's cottage is adjacent to a family home complete with its own parking, jacuzzi and bbq facilities. The cottage offers spectacular views of Slieve Donard and is close to Castlewellan and Newcastle as well as 40minutes from Belfast.

The location provides easy access to some of the most beautiful natural assets of Ireland with the Mourne Mountains, Murlough Nature Reserve and Tollymore Forest Park all near by.

Recently fully refurbished with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable parlour complete with wood burning stove, two spacious bedrooms with king size beds and open fires. Tollymore, previously the home of the Roden Family, lies amongst the Northern foothills of the magnificent Mourne Mountains. Long recognised as Northern Ireland’s best hillwalking destination.
