Little Monkerai - Cottage

The place we stayed at was tranquil and peaceful. It overlooked a lake and bushland. It was such a nice get away from the busyness of the city, especially waking up to the sunrise and birds. The outdoor area is large and a great place for BBQ. The grill was easy to use and cooking oil and utensils were all readily available. Judy was a friendly and helpful host. She even went out of her way at night to meet us and guide us to the property. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

The Gallery Cabin

AlanRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We stayed here to attend a wedding at Eaglereach. It is remote, but not as hard to get to as we'd feared. The road up is narrow and windy, not as steep as I'd expected and tarred most of the way so quite driveable. The Gallery is one of a number of houses in the Eaglereach precinct, but others are barely visible so it is quite private. The house was comfortable but could be improved with a more up to date kitchen - there is no dishwasher, for example. It was a chilly weekend and I would have appreciated some heating in the bathroom, which is a bit spartan. Also we were surprised there was no doona on the bed and no electric blanket. But the location is what you pay for and it was beautiful and peaceful, and the wallabies do come right up to the back door!

Alison cottage.

6 out of 5 for Graham and Monica!! This is the place to stay when in the area. We stayed here while at a wedding and seen other guests Airbnb accommodation and this is superior compared to other options! Graham and Monica were so friendly and nothing was an issue. The cottage was amazing, had everything you could ask for and was like brand new and super clean. It’s located on a lovely neat block in a rural quiet setting, perfect for your relaxing getaway or quiet working accommodation.

Kingaley Farmstay Dungog

What an amazing place! We just came back from 5 wonderful days here, and you instantly feel relaxed and at peace. The house itself is clean and cozy. The mixture of art and ornaments is stunning, so eclectic. The fireplace was well used, and the beautiful horses we fell in love with. Fishing was had down on the river, walks around the property, hide and seek, backyard cricket, marshmallows around the fire pit. It’s a 10 minute drive into Dungog and a little under an hour to Jerusalem walking track at Barrington Tops. Kids had a ball! It’s the perfect getaway. Thank you Toni and Murray for your hospitality. We will be back!
