1870's 3-story house private bedroom

PiotrRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My stay at Sheila's was wonderful. I am glad that after a long search I came across her beautiful home. From the moment I walked through the doors I felt the wonderful homey atmosphere. Sheila is an amazing person! If I would ever visit New York, I would choose to stay at Sheila's again. Communication with Sheila before and during my stay went smoothly. The area around the house is very safe, even after dark I felt safe. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby, as well as a subway station. If you are considering staying at Sheila's house, I highly recommend it.

Lovely house and so close to the subway and easy to get around. Great bathroom and fantastic shower. Orestes's was always on hand to ask questions and support us if we needed anything. After a day of exploring it was a welcoming place to come back to. Thank you.

PRIVATe BATHROOm Sunny, Quiet & Spacious BN

GraceRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Julien’s place is well located in a quiet neighborhood in Astoria but with Manhattan only a quick subway ride away. There’s a large grocery store 5-min walk away which makes things easy. The room is sparkling clean, and the private bathroom comes with your own washer and dryer, which is extremely convenient if you travel more than a couple days. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need. Julien is very kind and helpful. Would love to come back someday.

We loved Manuelas place, it was clean, looked even better than on pictures, it had all the useful appliances. Also comminication was perfect. The area was also great, close to Metro, lots of restaurants and ships around, felt very safe. We enjoyed our stay there very much

Minos Spacious Room near Manhattan in Astoria

DawnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
10/10 love this place! My friend is a local so he recommended this area for me to stay as a solo female traveler. PLENTY of restaurants to walk to. You can definitely hear the train but I used my airpods to drown out the sound. A guy named Juan lives there and he made me feel super welcomed and comfortable. 100% would book again and probably soon too!

Communicative and responsive host. Location was near everything - shops, restaurants, subway, cafe, convenience store within 1 minute. Very close to city centre. Will be back again. The room faces backyard so it was very peaceful and relaxing. Clean and quiet.

Cozy and Lovely Astoria room

DAVIDRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Generally people will say as the host, give me five stars and I’ll give you five as a guest , even though I could be worth five stars, the place might only be worth three but Andy‘s place is really really nice and clean. It’s close to the subway station going into Manhattan and the ride into Manhattan is probably only 15 or 20 minutes so it’s really convenient. Close to Andy’s Street are many shops and restaurants so you can eat there or in Manhattan but also Andy has a kitchen which is unusual from most Airbnb‘s and it was super clean with the refrigerator and dishes even though there was a refrigerator in my room, I just used the one in the kitchen to keep some Yoghurt and fruit cold. It was nice to be able to sit and eat quietly . it’s just a lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anybody wanting to visit New York and I would stay here again. Andy is a great host and I feel it is a safe area for solo females also because it’s a nice residential family area.
