Ideal for a short stay or a longer break in the lovely picturesque town of Sawbridgeworth, with railway links to London and Cambridge in 40 minutes. Trains also to Stansted Airport in 20 minutes. 10 minute walk in to Sawbridgeworth, where there are several great pubs & restaurants, and to the train station and bus stops. This basic but spacious one-bedroomed annexe is suitable for up to 3 adults or a family of 4 (if one of the children is under 6). Well-behaved dogs are welcome! It is the ground floor of a family house. There is one bedroom that has a double bed, a single bed, and a toddler bed. You will have the flat to yourself but might hear some noise from the family above. It is on a family-friendly street with a big park opposite. We can provide an extra camp bed if needed.

#1 Granary Barn is stylishly decorated in a clean, modern look. Conveniently located near the Stanstead airport, we could see flights taking off and landing overhead but once inside the rental, we didn’t notice them. There’s a bus stop right down the road, and our host offered rides for a small fee. Liz welcomed us when we arrived and offered many suggestions for restaurants and activities. We had a delightful stay and would gladly return.

We had a lovely peaceful 4 nights in this charmingly quirky self catering bedsit flat. Jessica was extremely helpful in sorting out a few minor problems caused by previous guests and we recommend Deynes House to anyone who doesn’t mind the unusual. Don’t be put off by the ancient plasterwork in the entrance stairwell, the flat itself is clean, tidy and well decorated. We ate in all the best pubs in the area and The Plough in the village was the best of all, the food was superb! Enjoy your stay, Peter & Vicki 😊

Ben was a proactive and friendly host from the point of booking. Prior to our arrival he sent a great lot of info on hot spots to visit and tips for the area. This was really great having not stayed locally before! The property was very modern, minimalist, clean and well equipped. It was easy to access and set in the most beautiful garden. If you are into gardening/flowers you will love this AirBnB!! We met Ben during our stay and he was extremely welcoming. A bottle of fizz was left for our arrival which was a lovely touch! The bi fold doors were perfect for this hot weather. We would 100% return and recommend this property to others looking for some peace and quiet, close to a local pub, with nice walks and nearby towns for shopping and eating!

A great little house great base for Duxford airshow, there is a little lane to the right of the house we parked there while we unloaded and then found somewhere to park it wasn't a problem, we enjoyed the bakery opposite for fresh croissant in the morning ,the house was comfy and had everything we needed

The loveliest little gem of a place! We had the best time here, the bed was one of the best that we’ve had - both slept so well. Looks small in the pictures but really doesn’t feel like it. The village is lovely, lots of shops and restaurants. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
