Mansion holiday rentals in East Dubuque

I was in Galena for the first time with my husband and two young adult children (22 and 24). We were looking for a peaceful short getaway to start off the summer. The home was beautiful and we loved the hot tub and the screened in porch. My daughter found the waffle maker right away and made waffles every morning! We only needed 3 of the 4 bedrooms but are planning to return in the Fall with the grandparents. We are likely to return to the same home as the king bedroom on the Main level would be perfect for accessibility for my father-in-law. We went to downtown Galena several times and enjoyed the shopping. Visited Thunder Bay Falls which was a short 5 minute drive through the Galena Territory. Walked to the end of the street and got some great pictures from the lookout and walked the trail with our dog. We never even made it to the clubhouse or the pool but that is on the list for our return. Loved it!

The house was beautiful and perfect for our group! It had plenty of space for everyone. It was the perfect place to get away and relax for the weekend.

We ended up having the perfect family reunion here! There was more space than expected for us - we loved the open floor plan around the kitchen which looked out into the forest. We even saw some wildlife pass through down there while drinking our coffee in the morning. There was lots to do - the adults enjoyed playing pool at the house and the kids had fun using the pool at the owners club. We all loved being out in nature and hiking the local trails! The host had good recommendations and was responsive and accommodating. Would recommend for a getaway!

We were all very satisfied with the stay. It was super clean and the location was wonderful. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Excellent host. snacks provided as a nice touch. Second story porch was great for our group to hang out together with great views of the downtown. Rooms were clean and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone.

This place was incredible! We almost thought it was too good to be true but it was completely how it was described. The surrounding area was beautiful and we’re definitely interested in coming back now.

Cynthia was incredibly responsive and helped make our weekend stay truly memorable! We loved the open layout and warm, welcoming ambiance from the moment we walked in. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would love to return for my next Galena visit!

Very clean and well maintained home. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and other utensils. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave the awesome basement!

Kevin was a great host! He welcomed us with a nice gift as a welcome to Wisconsin. He was communicating well with us on the trip. The place was beautiful! It was so peaceful and very quiet. We were just a short walk to the town which was such a cute town with a great antique store and coffee shop! (You must go to the coffee shop!) The house had so many fun things to do. I personally enjoyed the basketball court the most! Many games to play and a great fire pit. The fridge was so much fun to draw on and listen to music throughout the kitchen area. If you plan on a get away trip or a short distance away from Madison I suggest you stay here!

Beth’s place had everything we could think of for our family vacation. There were so many things to do and all of the rooms were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

From the second we walked into R lodge we felt right at home. It has all the amenities, the hot tub is amazing. Everything in town is adorable and easy to walk to. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon.

This house was everything and more. My husband and I were on a small getaway to Galena and this house was just perfect! It is located in such a beautiful and peaceful area. Plenty of space for a family vacation, and we absolutely loved the side room that would be considered a seasoned porch where we are from. Aviad is an extremely good host, and responds quickly to any questions you have within minutes. This was a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area. Well worth what you are paying for!

For being our first family getaway, this was the best place for it! Under the circumstances, or family really needed family bonding and quality time. We found the perfect home! The kids had plenty to do even though it was too cold for the outdoor pool. They were very responsive and answered my thousand questions. 🤭🤪 I would definitely return!

We stayed here for a sister getaway and had a blast exploring the area. This home was a perfect spot to spend time relaxing together. It was super cozy and had everything we needed!

Very pleased with the stay, everything matched what the pictures showed. Anne was a great communicative host. The area was beautiful and the ajr bnb was clean and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and gaming amenities in the basement. I do wish the grill was a bit cleaner, but overall I give the stay a 5/5!

Michelle’s home was wonderful. The location is very serene and the house was exceptionally clean and well equipped for a relaxing stay. The house has bedrooms and bathrooms on all three levels, along with a screened in porch, multiple decks, and two fireplaces, with easy access (no stairs) to the main entry. Seating throughout the home is invitingly cozy and comfortable. There was a welcome basket of treats in the kitchen, such a nice touch. We really enjoyed our time at this lovely home.

We loved our stay here! The house is huge and there are so many great amenities that make this an amazing value. We made use of the theater room, game room, hot tub, and the pickleball and basketball court outside. The setting is beautiful and private - surrounded by big trees and right next to a sprawling golf course. The location is good, although I do wish it was slightly closer to the downtown area since we went back and forth a lot and it's about 40 minutes round trip each time. But it was worth it for the privacy of the location and the quietness that it afforded. We loved our visit and would happily return!

Very nice and spacious home located in the Galena Illinois Territory. The home sits on a golf course and is not far from the downtown Galena area. We had a wonderful time staying at this nice home.

Excellent house for our guys golf trip! Lots of amenities at the house and a 10 minute to all of the different Eagle Ridge golf courses. House is a 15 minute drive to downtown Galena that has a lot of shops and restaurants. Very responsive and friendly hosts. 10/10!

We went to Galena with five women and Sam’s place had four bedrooms, five beds and four bedrooms! Perfect! It was well stocked and a perfect place for our group.
