Wonderful homestay

We enjoyed our time staying at Kadek's place during our trip to Ubud. He is friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The place was comfortable in a good location. Getting around was easy. The house was in a beautiful traditional setting which was nice. Breakfast was included which was nice to have while enjoying a view of the greenery next to the outdoor area. I would recommend staying here.

It's in the very nice neighbourhood full of bars & cafes & yoga classess. Also very close to the main areas to visit. The staff is super nice and helpfull. Thank you.

This was the last place we stayed in Bali and it was by far our favorite place. Not only is the accommodation phenomenal and beautiful, with a great view of the waterfall from the rooms, but it has a tree-house feel and is so unique. We saw a lot of wildlife, but were never pestered by anything (bugs, geckos, etc weren't a bother). But importantly, the staff were the kindest, most helpful and most accommodating staff that we had experienced in Bali. We enjoyed every meal that we had in the restaurant, and the staff are lovely to visit with. There are several recommended activities, where transportation was arranged. We have already recommended our friends and family to stay here, if they visit Bali. Thank you, Gumi Ayu! ♡

Hand down I love this place. When I come back to Bali I will defiantly book this place for my entire stay of a week for holiday. I will tell my friends about this place as well

Such a beautiful location & spacious villa to stay in. I will remember this view forever! Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast & afternoon tea was such a lovely delicious treat! Villa was great for our 8mo baby- high chair, baby bath and cot! There are quite a few stairs down to property so you are a bit isolated with not much around, just need to be organised with food & can easily spend all time at villa! Green Tara spa was in walking distance and do the best bali massage. Also walked to a Warung called we remember to the right of villa, wish we explored that village more around the rice fields but hard with a baby when on foot! Ubud town was 15min drive away so would recommend staying closer if wanting to be central. If you’re wanting a peaceful retreat and time to relax in true bali 100% recommend staying here!! Thank you for having us! Only thing to note is the bedroom is not closed off from living/kitchen so lights and sound seep through- if you have a napping bub/kid.

Warren is a very nice host, he is friendly, and very helpful if you want to learn more about this part of Bali. His family is also very kind. You get a very nice jungle experience at this place. You have beautiful nature and also very incredible waterfalls!

We’ve spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed our stay at a 20 min walk of Ubud center; scooter rental available should you want. The view is still amazing, even if some new one floor houses are being built in that same view. Good proactive service, reminding us not to forget to order food before kitchen closed while we were enjoying the pool late at night for example; no strict rules for pool use, just be respectful. We indulged in in-room massage; good mattress for both sleep and massage. Tip: We had no issue with our upper neighbours whatsoever, but if you’re a light sleeper or would like to sleep in, ask for a top floor just in case.

As a solo traveller, I felt really safe during my stay here. The staffs were really friendly and the room was so clean & beautiful. I liked the welcome snacks & drinks too! It has great location as I was able to go to cafes and beaches in just 20-25 minutes given the traffic. I will recommend this place ❤️

Great place, amazing location, would recommend! Only slight issue, there is no view as stated in the posting. It is very minimal through small windows in the upstairs bedroom. Don’t let that keep you from staying here, it is awesome great place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Rafi's place. The breakfast was amazing, the room very cosy with the beach across the road. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved this place. Awesome view from the pool and right in nature. It’s real quiet expect for the animals but that’s why we came here. I recommend this place for anybody who’s looking for a romantic getaway right in the heart of nature. The host is awesome always reacts on my messages within minutes. Thank you again!

Very good one-night stay in Jean-Paul's hotel. He and his team are very helpful and supportive! Cleanliness and beauty of the place at the top. High standard. Possibility of eating in your room. Breakfast not included but very hearty. The hotel is located in a very quiet area and surrounded by nature.

Podpadi is amazing, my only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer! The hotel is a beautiful and modern space, the room was clean and king sized bed was comfortable. The private plunge pool was a great place for a morning dip and the larger pool was a nice place to hang out during the day. Breakfast was delicious and we had it floating in the pool everyday for no extra charge. The staff are very friendly and attentive and special thanks to the manger, Made, who went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of during our stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing place. We booked this place for 1 night, but right after we step inside this place 😘 asked to extend. Perfect bedrooms, restaraunt, living area, view, spa. I can’t find one thing I don’t like here. And of course the best here is the owners of villa. Hospitality and care for guests here are at the highest level. My strong recommendation to visit this place. 10/10

Loved this place, stayed for 2 weeks! Room was bigger than photos, staff are always on site and clean the room everyday, so kind. It’s just tucked behind a restaurant so peaceful enough but walkable to a lot of great restaurant and shops.

The place is quite unique and magical. We loved the design and jungle view, sounds. The stuff is very helpful, there is daily cleaning, change of towels on demand. There is AC, toothbrush, toiletries. Very quiet, we could take part in yoga class, use sauna or flower bath - for extra fee. A note: this room had windows with holes, for those who don’t like to feel the wind (or with cold) might be unpleasant. We had a wonderful experience and would come back if had a chance!

Extremely beautiful well-maintained place with super nice staff. We were able to book the massage very spontaneously and it was very pleasant. Very clean room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast. We were there too short! Thanks again and keep it up!

Our stay at Kubu Elsa Bali was pretty good. Quite friendly and helpful staff. The location is amazing , only 2 minutes walk to the beach and Lovina 🐬 statue !

Great stay at this hotel in a great location. The hotel is super clean, the pool is reserved for only two rooms. Very welcoming staff and there is a laundry service. I recommend
