Beachfront holiday rental in East Nusa Tenggara

Had a wonderful stay with the most lovely hosts. They cooked delicious vegetarian food for us every night, arranged scooters and provided local knowledge. The bungalows are cute and the garden is beautiful with amazing views. We felt very welcomed and fully accommodated. Highly recommend staying with these lovely people.

We stayed at Boa Vida for two weeks and had the most amazing time! What a stunning bungalow with romantic atmosphere, beautiful gardens and breathtaking view over the ocean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well as accommodated every request with a smile. The breakfast is fresh, delicious and healthy. The bed and pillows are top notch and the sound of the ocean puts you to sleep right away. Boa Vida left a big impact on us and will have a special place in our hearts. We loved staying here and could not recommend it more highly! Amazing views, peaceful location, but still within an easy 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Labuan Bajo. The room was huge, light-filled, clean, and homey. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean. The hosts were lovely and helped with everything we needed. They also upgraded our room for no extra charge. The food was ordered for breakfast was great too. I would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful retreat. I stayed for 1.5 month at Ankermi to plot my fiction novel and it has been the most rejuvenating and productive stay. I accomplished a lot : mastered diving, learnt bike reading, swam in the ocean, watched sunrise and sunset everyday. Claudia took me to many secret diving spots and I was completely floored by the beauty of Indonesian ocean. Food is great and homemade. 10/10 will come again! Worth every value for money!

I actually did not make it to the island, due to the volcano erupting, but the host was very communicative and so our review is based on that fact alone. It would not be fair for me to give anything less than five stars. I have not been disappointed and it is not their fault that I cannot give them what they potentially deserve, I look forward to going and visiting next year.

The real resort, with all the service, manner, eco-style, high rate farming goods for meal, you’ll enjoy your stay as much as I am here. Maringi eco resort is something else, a different concept with international class without left locals behind. You’ll love just everything, like room design, all handmade stuffs, chic cozy bathroom, great atmosphere, detox drink and healthy meal, plus one of the best sunset and even sunrise you’ll see at Mananga Aba beach just a few minutes from here. If you have gone around Sumba and stay places, you’ll know Why Maringi eco resort is really a good idea to stay, and worth every penny. Once again, thanks to make our wedding anniversary such a great memory to remember XOXO

The view and location are fantastic. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Breakfast was great. There were a few hiccups. Ensure you understand the following: 1. You are renting a bedroom/ensuite with access to a deck and pool areas. There are 3 rooms for rent, the other is occupied by the host. 2. Keep your room keys with you anytime you leave your room. We got locked out twice. 3. There are 2 dogs that have free access to the main floor. They do bark. If you are not a dog person… stay elsewhere. 4. If staying on the main floor you will have to navigate a narrow spiral staircase. If you have mobility issues, request a room on the upper floor.

This is paradise on planet Earth. Beautiful cottages, amazing attention to detail, friendly staff, gorgeous sunset, a gym to workout. This is one of our favourite places in Indonesia- this is after four years of visiting different accommodation around this stunning country

I loved the stay at Kapung Kakak! Where shall I get started? First of all the manager Mince "Mihi" and her husband Alex such as the staff were amazingly friendly people. Mince always took very well care of all guests and on top we had a lot of laughters together. Her English is pretty good and she's very interested in Western culture. The cabanas have a beautiful view on the almost privat beach and I enjoyed Yoga practice on my terrace. The equipment in the cabana is simple but there's everything you need. The food is super yummy too! It felt like a luxurious homestay. I enjoyed getting in touch with the local people and especially the kids at the beach and Mihi's daughter (Olivia) friends. They would copy our Acro Yoga practice on the beach and begging for some Yoga classes. It was heart opening experience. I miss them all. I will be back - promised! Thank you all :-)

My two days at the bungalow were awesome and much better than expected. It‘s a perfect place to calm down and relax.

We spent two nights in this paradise place. The surroundings were beautiful with lots of palms and flowers, the rooms are decorated with a lot of love for detail, the authentic food was very tasty and the staff was very nice. We liked it very much.

Location is great and spectacular beach/pool view in the sunset hours. F&B are good in quality but they are lacking Indonesian/local food options. I would recommend this resort for anyone who seeks quality, western-standard stay in Rote.
