I had a one night overstay and for the price it was worth it. Clean, comfortable bed and linen I couldn’t get the shower to work but had a wonderful bath instead. I will definitely consider it again for a one night overstay on route from WC to Gauteng. Communication with Michelle was also great.

This place was amazing! If you are debating this place just book it you won’t be disappointed. Stunning views. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Very nice and cozy little place although we have missed a microwave in the kitchen. As it is winter it was quite cold because of the beautiful high roof. I will suggest a gas heater or fireplace in the living room area

We had a fantastic girls' weekend for the wine festival. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. We shall definitely return!

What a beautiful stay. Sally & Margaret were great! The treehouse is actually a hidden gem. The estate is out of the way of the crowds but close enough to everything. The treehouse has all the amenities you could need, it is spacious, furniture is comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and the whole place was clean! I would 100% go back and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for being such gracious and accommodating hosts!

Excellent stay at Jayne’s place, she is a very welcoming and accommodating host. The place is lovely and clean and private with everything you need. Would highly recommend. J-Bay has lots of good restaurants and great surf!

I booked for Carla for 4 days over the Grey 2025 Reunion week. Everything about our stay was perfect. We were made to feel extremely welcome and checkin and checkout were extremely flexible. The house is a few hundred meters from Old Grey, so a great option for anyone coming to a Grey or Old Grey event. I hope to have the opportunity to return in the coming years...

My partner and I had an amazing stay at the Greenhouse! Definitely one of our best AirBnB experiences to date. George's unit is beautifully and tastefully decorated from the living room to the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom; he really has a great eye for aesthetics! Everything from the plates, to the furnishings, to the glasses was stylish and unique. The unit is very spacious and comfortably accommodated two people. We really loved the outdoor patio and we had several lovely outdoor dinners there!! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals- including an air fryer! There are beautiful fruit trees planted in the front yard which add a lovely touch to the property. The neighbourhood is safe and close to shops and malls. George is a kind, friendly and extremely helpful and responsive host who helped us with everything that we needed! 10/10 would recommend- we were so sad to leave, but we will definitely be back!

We stayed 4 nights and loved every moment. The place was clean, neat, and very well-equipped, with sharp knives, a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, and washing machine — all the touches that made it feel like home. The layout flows beautifully, with the bedroom, kitchen, and living area opening onto a spacious deck. We braaied most evenings, enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub, and rinsed off in the outdoor shower after beach trips. The beach is a short, easy walk away, and the property is well protected from wind, making the deck and braai area comfortable to use. It’s also dog-friendly, with two secure gates giving our dog safe freedom to roam. The sensor light in the bathroom was handy, though a manual switch would be great for night-time use. We appreciated the space for boards and wetsuits and loved every thoughtful detail. A perfect JBay escape — we’ll definitely be back!

A lovely space that is bigger and better than the photos, with welcoming hosts. privacy when needed, great kitchen utensils and a fully functioning microwave oven, new kettle and good toaster.

Beautiful location/ lovely space. And pretty well equipped with everything you could need. Bob and Janet very warm and generous, thoughtful and kind - there is no indoor communal space but Bob and Janet were very generous with their shared space. Outdoor fire pit is wonderful. Lovely stay.
