We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly what we needed , clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. They really made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Serge ist ein toller Gastgeber. Wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen und hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt ins seinem Apartment. Serge war rund um die Uhr zu erreichen, hat uns tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben und uns seinen Hof gezeigt. Auch durften wir die Pferde dort aus nächster Nähe kennenlernen. Das Apartment war genauso wie auf den Bildern, toll eingerichtet, und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Holland wiederkommen.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

Lovely apartment, very easy to find and very clean and comfortable. Great location on the waterfront and close to bus station. Easy walk to town and lots of cafes / restaurants. Shafieq was really responsive and helpful and gave very clear instructions on check-in.

Als overbruggingsperiode voor mijn verhuizing hadden mijn vriendin en ik deze prachtige studio afgehuurd. De rust en omgeving sprongen er uit met het uitzicht op grazende schapen bij wakker worden, we voelde ons helemaal thuis. De studio was brandschoon en netjes bij binnenkomst en de host Nathalie was zeer vriendelijk en bereikbaar. We konden gebruik maken van fietsen om er op uit te gaan, wat een groot genot is in deze omgeving. Ook de optie om kleding te laten wassen was erg fijn en zeer gewaardeerd. De locatie is ook goed ideaal, binnen no time zit je in Purmerend of Amsterdam, terwijl je toch enorm kan genieten van de rust. Wij zouden daarom ook zeer zeker aanraden om deze bnb bij Nathalie te boeken!

The location is in front of harbor and very close to the historic center of Monnickendam. Bus access was very good for nearby towns and villages, including Marken, Volendam, Edam and Broek in Waterland. I was happy to see the sunrise across the harbor and yachts from the window of this attic apartment. I also really liked the check-in time was early from 13:00. This made me to leave my bags in the apartment early and explore Monnickendam well in the afternoon. It is very good for especially a short term stay in this well organized clean apartment. Joke and Peter were both friendly hosts.

In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte und sie war sauber. Die Lage ist ruhig. Ein Supermarkt sowie verschiedene Restaurants konnten mit den kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrrädern schnell erreicht werden. Gert-Jan hat hilfreiche Ideen und Anregungen für Freizeitaktivitäten gegeben und stand bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Wir haben den Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr genossen! :-)

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy house! The location is perfect — it’s very easy to reach all main attractions by bus, with stops close by. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience and a lovely atmosphere!

Wir waren als Mädelsgruppe im Haus von Leon. Es war wirklich super schön, alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr! Und hat es sehr gefallen. Das Haus war sauber und es geht wirklich schnell mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder dem Auto nach Amsterdam zu fahren. Wir kommen wieder!

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

Liebe Noortje und Familie ….auch wenn wir uns nicht persönlich getroffen haben - es war wundervoll im Rina‘s Haus gastieren zu dürfen - einfach perfekt! Wir wären gerne noch zwei Nächte länger geblieben - es gäbe noch einiges zu entdecken in Amsterdam…. und das kleine gemütliche Haus ist so erholsam nach den vielen Menschen und dem Trubel in der Stadt. Erg mooie locatie, heel dicht bij t centrum. Belangrijk om te melden is dat er geen parkeerplaats is voor de auto. 500 meter verderop is een gratis parkeerplaats. Wij vonden dit geen probleem. Eerst de bagage afzetten en dan de auto naar de parkeerplaats brengen, ging goed (eenrichtingsverkeer). Het huisje is modern en gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien! Treinstation en bushalte zijn vlakbij om de verdere omgeving met t OV te verkennen. In de tuin staat een schuurtje waar je evt je eigen/gehuurde fietsen kwijt kunt. Het is een rustige omgeving en toch dichtbij t centrum! Heerlijke plek en zeker een aanrader.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

Wir waren total zufrieden mit dem kleinen Ferienhaus, alles war wie beschrieben, sehr sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist super, weder der Strand noch die Innenstadt von Amsterdam ist lange entfernt. Die direkte Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und naturnah. Gerne wieder :)

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

Wir waren im Juni 2025 für 7 Tage in der Klaver Garage und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war alles mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und zum Erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren sehr wertvoll. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr luxuriös eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!
