This place surpassed our expectations for a girls weekend in a location we hadn’t explored before. This place was so cozy and the beds and linens were amazing. We had a fantastic time sitting by the fire and relaxing. Couldn’t recommend more for a couple of friends or a couples weekend. Look forward to returning with Hubby and enjoying this house and region again. Thanks for such a providing a really comfy, warm eclectic experience.

This was our second time visiting and we absolutely loved Jo’s place again. The location is amazing - close for fishing, walking to the beach and walking to town. We stayed mid- May and as the property is at the bottom of a hill with beautiful tall gum trees around it it can be a bit dark at this time of year with the sun not getting as high in the sky.

Me and my friends had a great weekend and excellent accomodation. Easy drive to town and very private. We didn’t have cook at all but I would like to comment on a well supplied kitchen. Both lounges are comfortable and cozy. Outdoor areas are great. Rooms and beds are comfortable. A great place to stay and surely will be back here. Thank you Tony and Rachel. ✅

We fell in love with the photos of BoxHouse… then our expectations were exceeded! Hands down one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve ever had. Liz is the perfect host: so friendly & caring, providing quality, thoughtful touches throughout the property. Everything in the home & at the property is of the highest standard, we were so comfy & cozy & spoilt over our winter long weekend stay. Highlights were the sunrise from the loft bedroom, the local kangaroos & birds, grilling on the bbq, reading & sipping a cup of tea as sunlight poured through the huge windows, yoga & cheese platters on the sun-drenched porch - everything was pure bliss! The home is so unique & interesting & we loved reading about the build & the town of Tanja in the books provided. We had a 5+ star experience & highly recommend a stay at the gorgeous BoxHouse.

The perfect retreat. We couldn't have asked for anything more, Phil and Lisa are fantastic hosts and made sure that we had an enjoyable holiday. The property setting is spectacular, with views through the bush onto the ocean. Being dog friendly was an added bonus, with a big garden and just a short walk to the beach, the whole family is catered for. We will definitely be returning.

We arrived at the property very late and the rain was pelting down hard, so could not view the property well. However the morning brought us the most beautiful scenery! My partner and I are both very well travelled...however we both marvelled that this was one of the most gorgeous breath taking views we have ever witnessed! I loved the calming colour scheme of muted green and blue shades, all the way down to the glasswear! The fire pit added to the charm of the property ...so did the adorable kangaroos and little birdlife. Makes me daydream about retiring here.......

Bangalee would have to be the best appointed house we have stayed in. Karyn has thought of everything down to the kids sized plates and nightlights. Our two families of Nana and Pa, mum, dad and 2 active young children felt it was the perfect place to enjoy each other’s company. We could find a quiet space when needed and the secure back garden was great for outside play. Perfecto.

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. Grateful we could have our dog with us. The deck at the front and enclosed yard at the back were very handy for us to sit with our pooch and enjoy the outdoors safely. Quality fitout and comfy beds with all quality amenities provided were most appreciated. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of the highlights was the stunning, scenic surroundings—it made the whole experience even more relaxing. We had the most incredible stay at this cabin! The location is absolutely unbeatable — just steps from a stunning beach with crystal-clear water and golden sand. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having morning coffee with ocean views felt like a dream. The cabin itself was cozy with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It felt private and peaceful, but still close enough to explore nearby cafes and attractions. Couldn’t have asked for a better beach escape — we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It really did have everything we needed for our mini Easter break. The kitchen/house was so well equipped, they really had thought of everything to make our stay relaxing. The house was lovely inside, and the pool area was a massive hit with the family. We would definitely recommend staying here in the beautiful Merimbula.

Lovely location right near the boardwalk. Nice views of the bushland and water from the house. the pool was fantastic! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Kelly super responsive and friendly when we needed to reach out to her. The only feedback would be that WiFi would have been great!! Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful peaceful property on the edge of town with lots of outdoor space. Our kids loved the pool, cubby and fire pit! Beautiful beach just down the bush track. And the house is very well set up.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

Had a most wonderful stay at Fishpen Retreat. The property is super private, with lots of natural light, spacious with great living, dining and outdoor spaces. Peter was very responsive, and was so kind to supply firewood, with kept us warm and cosy throughout the evening chill. All amenities required were available for a very comfortably and cosy stay. Location is perfection! Right across the road from beach & Mitchie’s jetty and Merimbula lake on the opposite side. An easy walk into town if required - you cannot go wrong here! Highly recommend for a relaxing stay anytime of the year, warm or cold weather. Having stayed at many places in Merimbula in the past, can definitely say that this will be our preferred choice of accommodation for future visits. Thank you, Peter for accommodating on such short notice.

Some people get everything right. Gillian has certainly done that. The cottage was pristine, with an award-winning garden. My pooch was free to explore, demand cuddles and hassle Spencer, the cat: T2 teas, chocolates and gorgeous artwork, really tastefully done. Gillian even did my laundry. Nothing was too much trouble. Her knowledge of the local area was outstanding, and Im trying to find an excuse to get back.

We had a great stay, our dog was happy and the backyard area was good for him. Plenty of pet friendly areas around Pambula and possibly the best fish and chips we've ever had. The location is pretty central for day trips to Merimbula, Eden, and other places. The bed was very comfy (I mention this as someone who often finds mattresses in accommodation to be somewhat lacking in comfort). All in all we had a lovely time!

Our family had a most beautiful stay and it was so peaceful. We particularly loved sitting on the front verandah, sipping tea, playing games and just watching the cows and sheep - they made our day. Ingrid, you and Grant were fantastic hosts and we thank you for making our few days a time to remember. There are so many beautiful walks to do and we hope to return again one day.

We had a fantastic stay at La Casita. It was very clean and cosy with thoughtful details. We loved the fireplace which was already set up for us. Would recommend a cosy winter stay here. Only thing to note that as mentioned the drive down is a little rough but manageable.

What a great place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the homes unique charm and peaceful ambience. Communication with Rez was easy, helpful, prompt and friendly. A special word about the view which is spectacular and the fact that the property is pet friendly made the experience so much more enjoyable. If you are looking for a stay that is truly one to remember, this is the place to stay!

Jody’s studio is exquisitely furnished with a beautiful aesthetic that is comforting and homely whilst also very functional. I immediately felt at home in the space and loved the bath overlooking the paddock next door and cosy fireplace area enjoying flicking through Jody’s beautiful cookbooks. I stayed 2 nights with my dog and found the location ideal for exploring local Tilba, Mystery Bay, and the gorgeous blue pool at Bermagui. Jody was welcoming and helpful throughout. I hope to visit again.

Lovely cottage, beautiful views. Everything you needed was there. Well stocked pantry. The surprise welcome chocolates was very much appreciated. Our little Benji (dog) had a ball. Very much dog friendly.

Super stay at Coota views. The view is indeed marvelous and Lily has installed a bird feeder on the deck which attracts all sorts of local birds (parrots, jays, parakeets..) for some nice photos. If you like to walk it’s a nice long stroll along the lake to central Mallacoota and there’s plenty to see in terms of beaches and trails. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Enjoy !
