Amazing place, host was super kind and accommodated my family’s last minute booking since we were cancelled on twice that week! We are super happy we found this adorable beautiful place that ended up being better than the other places would have been anyway!

Jeffrey’s guest house is super special, it was amazing to be able to look out every window to experience coastal Maine and so serene and peaceful. Located on a beautiful property right on the bay in a wooded setting. Very private and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay - in fact we extended it another 3 days to be able to enjoy it longer. Jeffrey was very accommodating and even credited us for the 2nd cleaning fee charged by Airbnb because we needed to change our payment method for the extended stay. I can’t say enough about the comfy bed!! I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud with super soft sheets and perfect mattress. I wish all Airbnb hosts were as thoughtful about the personal touches as Jeffrey. I had to work a bit during the trip and the internet was very stable and easy to connect to. It was a perfect retreat for us. Highly recommend staying here! We will. Definitely will Return!

Great location on Back River. short drive to wiscasset and groceries. Fun to sit and watch the tides.

Our stay at Margaret's home was very relaxing and comfortable. Pristine bathroom, kitchen and bedding. The lake view was so much more than we anticipated. It was serene, peaceful, and breathtaking. She went out of her way to answer questions for us about the area, and we left feeling like we just gained a new friend. Jeff and Donna

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! What a wonderful experience! Rebecca was an absolutely outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. My family and I had such a peaceful stay. The home and location were incredibly tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house and property were absolutely beautiful, and we loved sipping our morning coffee on the amazing balconies with the breathtaking views. There is so much space, and every room in the house is well thought out, functional, and cozy. The pool is even better than we hoped, so big and clean and in immaculate condition. We spent most of our time swimming and relaxing by the pool. We also enjoyed playing pool and having so many rooms to gather in with the comfort of plenty of new comfy furniture. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind for a vacation away from all the noise and chaos of daily life. Every single area was as described in the listing and better. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Beautiful Airbnb! Everything in the Airbnb was very well thought out. The host was super nice and always quick to respond. My only regret was not spending more time here!

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

Angela’s place was wonderful! Very cozy, clean and comfortable, well stocked, close to downtown Portland. Snacks was a nice touch! Angela was very responsive. Hope to come back soon!

The host gave us an upgrade to another tiny house in the same location that we gladly accepted. We were welcomed by fresh lilacs in the tiny home with cozy ambiance. The location is remote with a small farm stand (the honey from this stand is a must, we got the biggest jar and we have zero regrets). This is a peaceful retreat with beautiful views and hikes. I recommend this to anyone looking to escape the city.

I had a great month exploring Maine with my dog from this garage apartment. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. Some days my dog and I just laid a blanket on the grass and sat in the beautiful backyard. Go to Pickles Potions and get the body oil, it helped me keep bugs away.

I was meeting with family for a graduation. Four of us were staying here. The place was exactly what we needed in our lives and hoped for. It was country, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It was so beautiful sitting on the back porch that we never once sat in the living room. We had lots of coffee and laughs sitting out there. We never even went into the hot tub or sauna. Would definitely recommend if this is what you need for your soul.

Great house! Very spacious, plenty of bathrooms, and fantastic location. Very easy to communicate with the owners and check in/out was simple. My minor only critique is that we wish the grill were a bit bigger and nicer. We wanted to grill one day, but we were a little disappointed and unable to do so due to the grill quality. Would definitely stay again!

We want to stay here now every time we go to Maine! The setting is so beautiful and peaceful and our suite was bright and airy and rustic. Tim was such a kind host and it felt like a home away from home. Checked so many boxes for beauty and escape. Don’t hesitate to stay here!!

What a wonderful spot! Gorgeous, quiet pond and relaxing wood fired sauna. Rheanna is a super responsive and helpful host. We'll be back! Just FYI - this cabin is a "three season" structure. Although it was super comfortable, it felt a little more like camping than we originally expected with some cool nights and mornings, a few insect frinds, and a short walk to the shared bathrooms and kitchen area.

Hillside Camper is such a lovely and unique place! Surrounded by nature, with everything you need, and surprisingly bigger than expected! We arrived late in the afternoon and Rob was not only quick to respond but also left the lights on outside and inside. We had a fantastic, peaceful stay and will definitely return when we are in Maine again.

The perfect one-night getaway from the grind. The cedar hot tub was a godsend and David was very helpful and communicative! Great location and value!!

Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the little cottage on the Kennebec. The location is perfect for visiting Bath attractions such as Maine’s First Ship, the Maritime Museum, Bohemian Rose, and Markings Gallery. The screened-in porch with the view of the river was perfect for relaxing after full days of viewing and visiting. The view of the river from our comfy bed was a wonderful way to start another day. We hope to return!!

Me and my pup had an amazing time at Lisa's place! She made sure we had everything we needed and had great recommendations for the area. The view of the water from the property was gorgeous, not to mention it was amazing to see an alpaca and sheep grazing throughout the day. I'd definitely stay again!

This was our third time staying at this property, and we always look forward to our next stay once the current one ends. I don’t want to duplicate past reviews, but the listing is 100% accurate - dramatic views and sounds of the sea - and we come to rest and recharge. We also bring our dachshunds who can’t get enough sniffs when they are here. Tips: - May weather is unpredictable but it will definitely be cooler here than inland. Come prepared. We bring robes, heated throws, and our own small heater (they also provide multiple heaters but the large fireplace goes a long way to get the cold out of your bones). - Don’t overpack. Bring your non-negotiables, but you can get groceries in town. Do laundry during your stay to cut down on packing. - Do check out Waterstruck Wellness in Newcastle - not too far. Nice Nordic circuit (sauna, warm pool, cold plunge) amid a forest environment. - Don’t hesitate to reach out to your host with any issues. They’re great and responsive. Enjoy!
