Acra lodge has the best hospitality I have ever experienced. The owners and staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

We needed a place to stop after leaving Pilensburg park to recharge our batteries before going to Kruger it was the perfect spot. Quiet and relaxing with beautiful view and gardens and birds. Holger upgraded us and we had a beautiful room. We had supper there and it was excellent, breakfast was also really good. It was a reaĺly good value. The place was spotless and very uniquely decorated. Our room had a Rhino theme. Great for one night or to stay longer. thanks Tom

Beautiful, quiet place. Arriving at this great house with the wonderful garden after a long flight, was like coming home🤗. Norma and Holger are very friendly and looked after us very well! They always have good tipps about what to do in the area!! Breakfast and diner (cooked by the ever friendly and cheerful Hilde), are great and as there aren’t many Restaurants close by, we warmly recommend to eat on the terrace with the beautiful view of the surrounding hills! (Concert of birds included for free😊) Not to be forgotten is Holgers great Bar,! Thank you Norma and Holger for everything you did to make us feel comfortable!

Enjoyed our second stay at Acra Retreat and it now officially feels like our home away from home. The perfect place to stay between Kruger and Johannesburg. We absolutely love Norma, Holger, and their staff. All meals were divine. The views and peace you find at Acra truly restore your soul.

Annelize was a fantastic host from great communication prior to the booking and thereafter. The group of 7 loved the place and complimented Annelize's hospitality highly, as well as the cute dogs on the property. The accommodation was lovely and very clean, and the added breakfast helped the Marathon runners in their recovery. Thank you again for accommodating us Annelize & Danie!

A perfect location to explore the area; very comfortable, super clean and easy access to restaurants and coffee shops. Host was welcoming and most helpful. We had a super stay.

This place was wonderful. It may be on the expensive side for the area, but certainly worth it for the service. The staff were super helpful, especially Portia. I can’t say enough good things about Portia - she was responsive, friendly, and offered great tips and insights for our trip. We dined two nights at the restaurant there. Again, it was pricey (especially for the area), but was nevertheless really good. And the zebras on the property were a nice touch.

Great hosts and a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A big compliment also needs to be paid to Hilda, she is a wonderful human. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at Rissington Inn! absolutely beautiful and peaceful place with friendly staff and good food. It's an amazing place to rest and close to Kruger and the shopping malls. Rooms are spacious and clean with a nice style and homey feeling. Highly recommended!!

Suzanne is a great host. The place is a hidden treasure and offers quite the experience. The staff are also friendly and helpful.

Rob's place was amazing. We honestly felt like we were home, we loved how clean our rooms were. I wish our stay was longer and I honestly would love to go back again. My son loved it, the place has the most stunning views.

A lovely place to stay!

This is a great value spot to stay 5 miles south of the Crocodile entrance to Kruger. Its actually a small very charming and rustic hotel that is owned and operated by Sue and Martyn, two wonderful hosts that are originally from the UK. The place is older, but very well cared for with AC, plenty of hot water, and very decent wifi. I slept wonderfully. Sue can provide meals for you if requested. There are about 8 rooms total and it usually packs up with folks from all over the world. A great chance to meet and visit folks each evening after safari in Kruger. Sue was especially helpful with information about the park, and her hospitality was off the charts. I would without hesitation book again. It exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful spot in a quiet part of the Wildlife Estate. Very spacious rooms and a lot of privacy.

We had a great stay. The room was better than the pics and the host included nice extra treats for us. The garden is beautiful and the jacuzzi was the highlight for us. Breakfast was a bonus.

I had a great stay. The place was clean and peaceful. The host Michelle was communicative and friendly. We checked in very late and she was understanding and accomodative regarding getting the keys. The breakfast was delicious as well.
