Beautiful Hideaway in the hills of trás os montes

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Definitely a good place to stay here, a very clean house, with everything you need to be very comfortable. We have traveled with a two-year-old and has everything you need to make the child comfortable and safe. From the first moment Cindy have given us all the facilities we have needed. The place is wonderful, between mountains and perfect for disconnecting. The house is simply spectacular, you can tell that they have put your soul in that project. It is a luxury home surrounded by nature. Materials, appliances, decoration, etc, all of the very first quality and with very good taste. We are a family of 5 and have spent Christmas at Casa da Eira Velha. Gloria's reception was unique, we had a large basket with fruit, nuts, homemade jams and local honey as well as vegetables from her orchard waiting for us! Any questions we had Gloria resolved it in less than 30 minutes. The house is dreamy in a place to disconnect and rest!
