This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Quinta das Fontainhas. DOURO VALLEY is situated in the heart of the Douro Valley. Guests can enjoy the exclusive use of the entire property and the breathtaking scenery that will make for a unique and relaxing stay. The house, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, is the result of the reconstruction of a 19th century winery and offers the essential facilities for a peaceful holiday. There are two outdoor patios, a large stone table and a barbecue. The swimming pool is set in the vineyards.

At Marmelal, you find our familiar village house, surrounded by the bucolic landscape of the Douro River and the vineyards. Visit the chapel classified as a Monument of public interest, then go to the discovery of the region. Two steps from Marmelal you can visit Porto wine farms or nearby cities. If you prefer, you can relax and forget about the stress of everyday life, resting looking in the area's vineyards or diving in the refreshing pool water overlooking the Douro.

Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro - Lookout House

Casa do Miradouro is part of a group of houses inserted in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro, located in Barqueiros, in the Douro Demarcated Region. Come and settle into a historic Douro farmhouse with a wine estate to enjoy! The independent house is located on the second floor of the Main House, with two flights of stairs and has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchenette with a pantry, a television, Wi-Fi and a full bathroom. For guests' comfort, we have a luggage elevator.

Foal Retreat

Refúgio das Poldras is located in Vilar de Viando, right on the banks of the Cabril River, one of the cleanest rivers in the region. Excellent for bathing, swimming, or simply walking along more than 2 km of the Cabril River. It is located about 2 km from the center of the village if you want to walk along the Roman road. The bungalow features a double bed with a unique view of the river, a kitchenette for light meals, a bathroom with shower, and a suspended deck.

This family-owned house is located on a small farm overlooking the surrounding vineyards and the Serra do Marão and Serra das Meadas mountain ranges. The accommodation has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen. In winter, you can enjoy the fireplace. The house offers free Wi-Fi, a garden and outdoor space to relax and enjoy outdoor meals. The glazed balcony with stunning views of the Douro can be used for meals.
