Cabin holiday rentals in Eldorado National Forest

This was my family’s first stay in Lake Tahoe. The cabin was as described and very welcoming. The location was great since we wanted to stay away from South Lake Tahoe so we were close to Tahoe City, beaches and hikes. Molly was also very responsive and the kitchen was very well stocked.

This amazing property is well loved and it shows. We visited to rejuvenate in nauture and enjoyed every peaceful moment here. Will definitely be back! It also would be fantastic for a gathering. There is something for everyone here. The variety of amenities, from puzzles & to canoes, gives you the feeling you stocked the home... except it was easy to find the sizzors. Plenty of space to enjoy together but also catch a quiet moment. Also close towns with shops and groceries. Roomy and suitable for infirm with just one step but nnearby o downstairs shower.

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved our time here. The house is modern, clean, and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by tall pine trees. It felt like our own private mountain retreat. The master bedroom upstairs was spacious and serene, with a large bathroom and comfy bed. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for cooking meals together—loved the rustic granite countertops and the cozy fireplace that separates the living and dining areas. Both upstairs decks were great spots for coffee in the morning and stargazing at night. Our toddler had a great time running around the safe, fenced backyard, and there was plenty of room for all five of us. The location was great—only a short drive to the lake, restaurants, and Heavenly Gondola. Overall, we’d definitely return and recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing South Lake Tahoe getaway!

My friend and I stayed overnight and we are smitten. When we arrived we found the most charming house surrounded by the peaceful sounds and sights of nature. The house may be small but it doesn’t disappoint. The kitchen has a good assortment of all the basics you will need to enjoy your meal. There is a stove top (only), microwave and toaster oven to prepare food. The living room is comfy and cozy and stocked with DVDs from the host. The bathroom has complimentary products for the standing shower if you forget yours at home. Up the spiral stairs is the bedroom and it’s a magical little haven. The bed is soft yet firm and the pillows are heavenly! There is a small balcony off of the bedroom and it’s lovely for stargazing. Let’s not forget my favorite part: the deck tub. Do not underestimate bathing under the stars listening to Pink Floyd. They even left us a bath bomb (so thoughtful) Don’t forget to wander off to the lake but pack light if you walk!

Cabin was awesome. Cozy and comfortable. Modern upgrades and well stocked to enjoy an escape to natural, everything you need. Hot tub under the stars accentuated the experience. Walls of windows allowed full experience. Nestled in the redwoods. Highly recommend a stay.

Loved this cabin! It was perfect for our needs. Loved that we could bring our dogs. Only complaint is there was a strong air freshener smell that was a little overpowering.

I cannot speak highly enough of this property and the host. We were so sad to leave! I adore A- frames and this one had all the charm. The property had an amazing view of the Lake and the hot tub made the view even better. I would absolutely return! I also cannot speak highly enough of the host, she was so kind and gave detailed recommendations which we utilized and enjoyed!

This is the best cabin in Arnold. Great location, very clean. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We did not want to leave. Daniel is an amazing host, very friendly and quick to respond. This is the cabin that you want to book when staying in Arnold, highly recommend.

The workshop was absolutely charming and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Gail's personalized welcome signs made my pup and I feel instantly at home. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the space were truly impressive, and the cozy ambience made it even better than the photos. Gail was incredibly attentive and communicative throughout our stay which is always greatly appreciated. Will be coming here again when we're in the area :). I highly recommend the workshop to anyone looking for a cozy retreat.

Wonderful location and the best view! Cabin was very cozy and the decks + hot tub views were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook meals. Host was very proactive about home updates and responded quickly to questions!

This house rocks. Quick access to private lakes, swimming pool (with a snack shack!), and an on-site restaurant that’s open on the weekends. The whole community is a chill family vibe and the folks at the recreation area work hard to keep it fresh with activities for the kids. It feels kinda like summer camp. We brought our 16-monther and he was loving the beach (first time in a lake). The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Their description listing is spot on. Hosts are great too— responsive and personable. Thanks for a great stay, we’re already planning our next trip. 🤘

Lauren’s Airbnb was the perfect spot for our Yosemite trip. It’s about a 10 minute walk into town and there are amazing local restaurants. It is also an hour and half away from the Yosemite entrance. The place itself was very clean and cozy!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ali’s rental in South Lake Tahoe, and I can’t recommend it enough! Great house in close proximity to Lovers Leap for rock climbing. We had been on a 2 week road trip and stayed at many different AirBnBs. I almost want to redo all the other one’s ratings because this is the only one that really deserved 5 stars. It’s a proper home as opposed to some clinical company-managed places that feel more like a hotel or a hospital.

The space was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions like Jenkins lake. I especially appreciated the private location of the house, its views, and all the games there. Communication with Maria was prompt and helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. We had a lovely stay at the Black House. Great location and was stocked with everything you could need. The guest pass to the lake and the fenced in yard were huge bonuses! FYI for pet owners, the lake has a strict No Dogs in the Water policy.

First of all, I can’t say enough about the host. She is the best I have ever dealt with. Was running low on a few things and she responded and brought them immediately. The cabin itself is so cozy and homey. We we are from this area but have moved away and came back for a wedding. Really enjoyed staying there in the beauty of the trees and we even got a little thunderstorm. Love all the wildlife that comes around. A perfect place to stay iPollock Pines.

Perfect place if you're looking to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. Stunning views all over and a beautiful large deck to enjoy it all. Loved cozying up around the fire at night too.

The views are worth every penny & every stair to get in and out. The beds were extremely comfortable and we felt right at home! They had everything you could need and paid attention to little details. Would love to stay again in the future!
