The Loft is a spacious cosy area with low ceilings which the teenagers will love but tall people may not enjoy it as it's only about 1.75 cm at the highest point . large couches for watching netflix or relaxing on the deck. we are not set up for young children and think it's best suited to 8+ age

A little bit of country

Guest room separate to the main house. Its a large studio room with en-suite. We're out in the country on a large lifestyle block, only 5mins from Inglewood which is a great little town, and 20mins from New Plymouth. Its a peaceful spot with a great view of Mt Taranaki from our garden. Our place is shared with 2 dogs (outside dogs), 3 cats (probably wouldn't see them), chickens and cattle on the farm From Sept - Oct we have lambs that are being hand fed. :-)

FREE breakfast is included/ cereals/toast tea/coffee/milk/butter/jam.We are in a nice quiet street, close to town. Mount Taranaki/Egmont is a 10 minute drive. New Plymouth 30 min drive away! We loved so much Rob’s place that we extended it even though the weather was not looking good for outdoor activities. It is very private, quiet and spacious. We had a lot of luggage but no issues to handle them in the house. Super comfortable bed, linen and fully equipped kitchen. There was also coffee, instant noodles and granola available, along with salt, pepper and oil which was great as we wanted to cook some local food during our stay. The washing machine made all the difference considering all the hiking and trail running we were doing in the area. Highly recommend this place.

One of the more unique Airbnb's in NZ, this former post & telegraph office also happens to be one of the coziest. David and Maria are fantastic hosts, and the homemade meals they offered were delicious and convenient. If you are hiking Egmont or just happen to find your way out in Eltham, I would highly recommend David and Maria's spot.

We felt right at home straight away. Having the bedrooms spread out meant we could hear our youngest in the night, but our older children had peace and space to do their own thing. Miriske had thought of everything a guest could possibly need or want. The "forgot something?" basket is a genius idea. The house renovation is lovely, with only the shower to complete. The DVS and dehumidifier make the house dry and cosy. Thanks, Miriske!
