“If you want somewhere where you can really relax then this is the place! We had such an amazing time at Harshan’s place, we made some great memories and left making some great friends as well. Harshan was the perfect host, very kind and generous, helping us out in any way that he could. We spent time cooking fresh fish together caught and bought right outside Dolphin Wadiya, playing Carrom, volleyball, sharing lots of laughs and chilling out. His place is a 5 minute walk from the beach with beautiful views from the peaceful garden. The room is very comfortable, quiet and clean and there is bikes you can borrow to cycle around the local village. We can’t recommend this place and Harshan enough, it was the perfect end to our trip in Sri Lanka! We really didn’t want to leave and hope that we meet again in the future! 10/10”

We are surrounded by palm trees with a direct view of the lagoon, beach and sea.
“We spent our second night in Sri Lanka at the Kite House Cafe. It's the most amazing spot, so it was a shame that we couldn't really stay longer. Would definitely go back if we have the time. We slept in one of the tents, they were very big with a nice seat in front of the tent! The showers are literally outdoors with water coming down from a shell! The whole place has a really relaxed and home kind of vibe. The staff is super nice, the food is amazing (Western kind of prices, but worth it) and it has a really nice location close to the beach (and off the beaten path). The road was a bit challenging for us, since we came with our own TukTuk. But it was kind of fun and they had a parking spot in front of the place. Oh and the WiFi was great by the way!”
Leopard Lakes is a masterpiece of recycled and up cycled material which is set in a ten acre mango and banana plantation in the North Western province of Sri Lanka. From here, you can enjoy easy access to Wilpattu National park and Kalpitiya marine park. Whether you're a tourist or traveling on business, Leopard Lakes is a great choice for accommodation when visiting Wilpattu.
“When we (family of four and two friends) booked Leopards Lake for one night stay we simply expected some decent accommodation. But it certainly exceeded that. Living so closer to the nature was out of this world. We ate meals and slept while listening to the humming of the jungle and enjoying beautiful breeze coming from it. Even interior is made in line with the environment. There is a choice an AC and non AC room. I of course chose to sleep in non AC room which is very open with a lovely balcony built around a mango tree. Both rooms are equipped with the mosquito nets. Rasika and brother were excellent hosts who really cared about their guests and made us feel very homely. Our meals were prepared with the food we chose and deliciously prepared by the cook Kumara, who is on constant alert for any need you may have Leopards Lake is wonderful place for any one not just nature lovers. Also it’s important to know that Rasika will even organize famous Willpattu safari if needed. We have no objections recommending Leopards Lake for any one for a memorable out door experience and beautiful food cooked by Kumara. ”
