Holiday houses in Emerald Beach Villas

Michelle, thank you for being such a gracious host for our first trip to Barbados. We’ll remember this time forever.

The apartment and the Royal Westmoreland amenities I was able to use were all excellent. Within a very short walking distance of the apartment I rented was one of two large communal swimming pools I enjoyed using. Before I rented a car I also utilized the Royal Westmoreland shuttle between the apartment and the beach club. Brigitte was very helpful and accommodating, arranging a taxi for me from the airport to the apartment and also arranging a car rental. This trip to Barbados was to meet with a realtor and view several homes, including many within Royal Westmoreland. Brigitte volunteered her time for a lengthy meeting with me during she which she provided me with valuable information that will help me find an island home.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful villa. There is plenty of room for 6 people. It is just a 7 minute walk to the beach and a 25 minute walk into Speightstown. The pool is amazing and really well kept. The only thing that could make this villa even better is to add an en-suite shower room the massive bedroom.

This was a nice villa and is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The home was clean and comfortable. It is walkable to the beach and a few different restaurants, but if you’re looking to be close to the Bridgetown area, it is about a 35-45 minute drive depending on traffic. Additionally, the map location on google and Apple Maps is wrong, so it made it a bit challenging to locate the villa. Other than those things, I’d definitely recommend this home.

Mikes is a lovely place to stay. Bedroom is amazing with a great smart tv, really comfortable superking bed, en suite with rain shower which is not shown in pictures & lots of wardrobe space. Kitchen has all gadgets you need to be fully self catering, including air fryer which was invaluable as the oven smelt strongly of gas when on. Mike provides coffee pods, really nice toilet paper & afew basic items which is handy, but check expiry dates. Upon arrival Mike does a very thorough walk through with lots of instructions so bring listening ears, but most things are self explanatory. He is on hand & responsive if you needed. The property is safe & secure, & we didn’t hear neighbours at all. Unfortunately bedroom backs on to the main road so this is noisy, as is the wonderful wildlife at night. Bugs are rife & come through bedroom aircon onto bed. Pool is lovely but shaded by trees & noisy as by road. Dogs are very smelly but absolutely lovely. Haywoods local beach is the best we went to!

Excellent 2 week stay at this amazing apartment. It has everything you need and more. Spacious fully equipped, air conditioned apartment. We loved the private pool and garden. Was wonderful to sit on the terrace and were lucky enough to be visited by the monkeys. And Mullins beach is only two minutes down the steps. We went there a lot. Also so handy to have a shower at the gate to the complex when coming back from the beach. Would recommend Adrian's Bar if you like a more authentic Caribbean bar. Loved the area as it was more closer to what we like about the Carribbean. Some of Barbados is a bit too developed with high end restaurants and hotels. Unlike our previous experience in the region in Guadeloupe and Martinique. We bypassed the overpriced places and went to Bomba's restaurant with a view that is hard to beat. Also Caboose beach bar in Speightstown has great Fish cutters. The Jamaican Jerk place is also brilliant. Overall a fabulous apartment in a great location

An absolutely perfect stay. Will definitely be returning to The Pink House! Check In: Seamless. Sent lockbox code before check-in time, opened to access key. The house: clean, organized, nice and bright. You will feel safe and secure. The upstairs bedroom and patio were fantastic. Real King bed was comfortable. Great A/C. Comfy hotel-style white bed sheets. Lots of closet space. Ensuite bathroom is bright and clean. Shower very nice. Kitchen has everything you need. It works. Sitting room is cozy enough. Back deck and plunge pool are the stars of the show. Indeed they were as amazing as they look! Spent much of our trip using it, sunny most of the day. Beach, while coral-y, does the trick! Nice sandy beaches to enjoy nearby. Sandy View was a beautifully furnished and well appointed condo with ample space for 3 couples. The views from the balcony across the beach were stunning. Volney was fantastic and got us some shopping in for our arrival as the supermarkets were closed early on the Sunday. She serviced the condo regularly and promptly address an issue with the hot water. The booking process was easy and Richard was really helpful before we arrived offering advice on transportation and restaurants. The beach was lovely but be sure to go to Heywood’s beach just 10 mins walk from the condo to the right. Two supermarkets close by were great. I would recommend Baia, Local&Co snd Sand Street Bistro as well as the pizzas at Orange Street Grocer. Pier One about a 1 mile walk right from the condo offers lovely sunbeds and a pool free if you eat there. I would highly recommend @Shasacatamarancruises for a private charter to snorkel and swim with turtles with your food and bar included. Really good value.
