Carmel Cottage

We stayed with another couple for a wedding at Maroon Hill Estate. Laura was lovely to deal with and even went the extra mile to accomodate us getting in early so we could get ready for the wedding. The place was spotless, cosy and very comfortable. Loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Great spot for a visit back to family. The newly renovated bathroom is a sanctuary and the bedrooms roomy and comfortable. House was warm and cosy and Brenda was accomodating and caring. Place is close to the main street and is thoughtfully appointed for families.

Barney Views Cottage

We had the most restful few days at Tammy's cottage - it's perfect and its history, fascinating - and the view, wow!! Was blissful to watch dusk make its way across the mountains from the verandah or one of the perfectly placed picture windows inside. We also loved wandering through the gardens and discovering all its hidden treasures. We saw kangaroos, cows and lots of birds but our favourite were the Guinea fowl - what characters! Tammy is a responsive host and we appreciated the little welcome pack of chocolates, biscuits and everything we needed for a hot chocolate. Barney Views is the perfect place to unwind and have a little R & R, and we highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

Wallaby Creek Retreat Farm Cottage

We had a great, relaxing long week-end at the cottage. The description is absolutely right, it is a fantastic place to disconnect, relax and unwind. Start a fire, read a book, play games, take a walk... The farm tour was a great experience for the little one and the parents (puppies and chicks cuddles, collecting eggs, feeding horses, and a demonstration of the cattle dogs at work). There is no mains power but it was no trouble, there is a great solar + battery setup, adequate lighting, no issues with hot shower. We did well on the road with our 2wd, but careful that if you follow the road as indicated on Google Maps, if you get to a gate with a "Private property" sign, you went too far and must come back to the nearest house.

Had a great time at Leah’s place. We only stayed 1 night but it was so peaceful and relaxing. Leah was easy to communicate with and the place was gorgeous, exactly what we were hoping for.

One Tree Hill

We had a marvellous weekend at Russ and Mandie’s cabin and we are grateful for their hospitality and attention to detail. It really is a superbly appointed cabin which exudes charm and feels homely as it sits on top of the hill in a quiet and private location. Russ and Mandie have certainly thought about everyone and everything going as far as a first aid kit and diabetic sweeteners! Star gazing by the fire whilst enjoying a drop of red was an unforgettable experience. We are certainly keen to return in the not too distant future. It is undoubtedly accommodation that we thoroughly recommend to the eco-friendly nature lover.
