The house is located in Senjahopen, only 1 km from the store. – 20 min to the hiking trails to Segla and Hesten – 7 min to the beautiful beach in Ersfjord – Great hiking trails in Mefjordvær – 30 min to ferry to Tromsø (Botnhamn) – 1 hour to ferry to Andenes (Gryllefjord) Three bedrooms on the 2nd floor (2 x 150 cm and 1 x 120 cm bed) Bathroom on the 1st floor. Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Unique panorama – Senja

It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outer side of the adventure island Senja. You can't get closer to nature - with a glass facade of almost 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while sitting inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern lights - it's never boring to look at the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjorden. The cabin was completed in autumn 2018 and is of high standard.
