Cemaes is close to the historical town of Machynlleth and Snowdonia National Park. Beautiful views await you along with lots of things to do and see. Whether walking, biking or just enjoying a lunch in a pretty town or visiting tourist interests there is plenty to do here. The Dyfi Valley is a designated UNESCO Biosphere.

Colwyn Bay station is a 15 min walk. Llandudno, walks for all abilities and beautiful beach. Snowdonia, Conwy, Anglesey and Betws-y-Coed are all an easy drive. Built in 2017 a new conversion of an old brick barn, Ty Mochyn is lovingly created holiday accommodation. Luxury, style and comfort in a beautiful, peaceful, rural setting with everything you need for a relaxing stay, friendly hosts to welcome you and take care of any needs and interests you have. Ty Mochyn is part of what was once a small farmstead and is an old barn attached to the hosts small farm cottage. On site there is also an art studio, and games room available by negotiation.

Garden Cottage, a cosy rural retreat nestled in the grounds of Rhiewport Hall, a beautiful Georgian Hall currently being restored to its original glory. The cottage has a private drive and parking. It is surrounded by amazing views of the Welsh countryside. With 2 bedrooms, a double bed in the master bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen offers you the facilities to cook up a storm . A private garden with a patio looks out onto the estates working Walled Garden.

We have lovingly converted the attached space to our home, Primrose Villa, to create Primrose Garden Studio, a self-contained space for guests. With two country pubs within walking distance, Chester zoo just 4 miles away and Chester city centre a ten minute drive we are ideally located for exploring this lovely part of Cheshire. Set within a quiet courtyard Ty Llwyd is part of the former Bala workhouse, dating from around 1836, a recently renovated 3 storey Victorian terrace. Bala is nestled in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park where you can find an abundance of truly stunning landscapes to explore from the doorstep. Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) is a short walk from the house, with all local amenities pubs, shops, cafes within 200 yards.
