Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Esmeraldas

Very nice place! The room was very clean (they gave us an extra portable heater because it was cold at night) and the lunch was very rich. The only recommendation would be to clean the hot tub water.

If you are reading this don’t look any further! You found your perfect spot to relax & enjoy nature! Here is why: - The best food in whole Ecuador - I mean it!! (We stayed the whole time in the hotel because Aldo is the best cook!) - they have the cutest cat Steve & loveliest doggo Laika - they are a lovely family owned hotel with a stunning ocean view - Little surf right in front of the house - relaxation pure you will only find sounds of nature (No cars, no loud music, no roosters as in all of Mompiche) - bring your Moskitos repellent since you are in nature ;) - no hot showers and low water pressure but we didn’t mind at all - you can only come to this beautiful spot on low tide which makes it even more special - great communication & flexible check in We can’t thank Aldo & Manya enough for those chilled days!

We absolutely loved this place. We were welcomed so nicely and we felt home right away. Actually we kind of felt like in paradise. Really! This is as close as it gets. Aldo and Manya are INCREDIBLE hosts and the staff is so very friendly and caring. And we can not thank Aldo enough for cooking amazing vegetarian meals for us every single day. We can absolutely recommend this little paradise. The beach is right in front of the door, during high tide you feel like on a private island, the rooms are absolutely clean and (as mentioned before) the food is mouthwatering good. We were really sad to leave.

The hotel is serviced by a very attentive and helpful Ecuadorian family/Argentina, being few rooms really feel like arriving at friends' house. The hotel is facing the sea and even in high season (Carnival in my case) you have the beach only to yourself. Excellent option if you want to get away from people in front of a beautiful beach. Keep in mind that the hotel is located 2km from the village of Mompiche and is accessible at low tide. (Once you know the schedules this is not a problem.) The food was prepared by the same family and everything was delicious. Traditional coastal breakfast with greenballs, juice, coffee, etc. And very rich lunches with local ingredients such as ceviche, fish, rice with seafood, etc. Keep in mind that it is not an à la carte restaurant but every day we were offered at least two options. (The best of the food during my stay El Arroz with seafood, 100% recommended.) A cute RUSTIC beach hotel! If you are looking for something relaxed this is the place to be, if you are looking for something luxurious this is not an option.

Cozy cabin in the middle of a primary forest and ecological reserve with river and trails. Five minutes from San Miguel De Los Bancos, twenty minutes from Mindo and a couple of hours from the beach. Highly recommended to rest away from noise and everyday life. The only suggestion I would make is to place an electric gate on the road to facilitate access for Milpe residents and their tourists.

Stunning place. Perfect to stay a few nights, it’s close to many activities. You can see quite a lot of birds at the Airbnb. Elaine was a fantastic host. Really helpful and always friendly. Breakfast and the fruits were delicious. Highly recommend it!

It was perfect for relaxing on the beach. The food was excellent and Aldo was very helpful both for tour bookings and tips for the onwards journey.

Beautiful and private place to get away from the urban and connect with the sounds of nature and the river. Elaine was very friendly and communicative, the breakfasts were delicious. The place is quite beautiful as they have decorated and makes you feel like your own. It has different spaces where you can spend time. Thank you for everything, I'm sure we'll be back.
