Family-friendly holiday rentals in Esperanza

Great place to stay: modern, comfortable and close to the beach. Super clean and had everything we needed. Carlos is a wonderful host answering all my questions within minutes. It’s conveniently located to places to eat and stores. Checkin/checkouts are super easy.

Our family of 4 had a great time at the apartment and enjoyed the pool and beach. Having a kitchen was so convenient. We visited the kioskos de Luquillo and El yunque during our stay. Included parking was also a plus.

Geoff and Vanessa were wonderful hosts during our stay. They checked in a couple of times during the stay to make sure everything was going well. The made us aware of some local sea turtle hatchling activities on the beach which were so much fun for us and the kids. The condo was clean and spacious and perfecty located to utilize the pools and the beach. We couldn't ask for more gracious hosts and better home base for exploring the island. We had a great time at Lydia’s place. We had plenty of space, it was very clean, golf cart was great addition, and great views! The king bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back !

Quiet neighborhood that felt safe. Jose’s home was really spacious and the patio was beautiful out back with great views of lush greenery. Places to walk out back. Sleeping was comfortable for the 10 of us that were there. What a great big TV room upstairs and when you open the shutters it was just beautiful. All in all we found the home very nice and relaxing and the location was convenient to San Juan. Some in our group made the trip to the city a couple of times. It rained off and on during our stay, as it often does in the rainforest, but even that looked beautiful under cover of the patio. The community pool is close by, and is nice and large, but I do have to say that it wasn’t that clean on the day we went. Jose was a very responsive and communicative host from time of booking till we left. We had some questions while we were there and he answered almost instantly every time. Thank you Jose for providing a good place for our family to have time together.

Perfectly fit the 7 of us. Diana was very helpful when needed and her unit and the location were beautiful!

The Happy Yellow Beach house was everything we needed! It was a great location for us to explore Puerto Rico! The home provided all the amenities and space we needed for 6 adults. The pool, hot tub and outdoor spaces were great! We would definitely come back!

Mrs Renee was very attentive even before I made it to the villa. I had to fly out of Newark and she was forwarding information she would see about news with delays or cancellations. She was very responsive and provided very good instructions to get to and out of the grounds where the villa was. From the gate to the villa is quite a distance but she advised of this in advance. A car is a must, not so much of an option, if you’re staying at this villa. The place was cozy with a beautiful view. The place was clean and she had a very kind gesture for my daughter since it was her sixteenth bday. Overall, the place was perfect for our short stay.

Our stay at Vickie's place was just magnificent. The serenity and peace of her house and where it's located is indescribable. You definitely need a car to get around Vieques, but you won't be driving more than 15 minutes to wherever you need to go. And Vickie's place is more than worth it: big, spacious apartment, STUNNING VIEWS of the ocean, ample kitchen, and more. Vickie herself is also very responsive, proactive and accommodating. We would 1,000,000% percent stay here again.

Ms. Marta is an excellent host. We (me, hubby & 2 cats), just moved here to Puerto Rico from Pennsylvania. We rented this Airbnb because we wanted to look for a place between here and San Juan. Ms. Marta found out that we were looking for a place to buy/rent in the area and offered us an extended stay to continue looking for a place. (Relieved)! The villa we rented was clean, cozy and private. The linen smelled so good. There is a washer/dryer right on the property for your use. The hospitality was amazing. You want for nothing. When we told Ms. Marta we didn't have any internet service, she immediately responded. She spoke to the owner Mr. Juan, and that same day we had internet service. (Loose cable) Chewy is the awesome grounds keeper. If anything is needed, ask him once, and it's done!! He even brought my husband and I fresh coconut water. Gigantic coconut with a hole drilled on top. Yum. Nature, horses, dogs, singing coqui's and a pool! It felt like home. A must stay!!

This property is stunning, with a beautiful view and lush greenery. The pool was a huge hit with our kids. I was so thrilled to hear and see coquís at night, a special part of the Puerto Rico experience. There are two separate parts of the house so this worked well for our multi-generational family visit. The property is a short drive to El Yunque and several beaches, despite the property being in a more forest setting. Monica was very communicative and helped with lots of information, including restaurant recommendations. There were towels and beach/pool towels which was helpful. There are two cats around but not inside the house. Monica was attentive regarding any concerns or questions we had.

We really enjoyed staying here. The walk down into town and to the beach was easy. The place was comfortable and clean. The bed was a little hard, but we slept on it just fine. We appreciated the snorkel gear and the full size refrigerator. The AC was excellent. Small tip, bring ear plugs, the roosters start at 3am. We used ear plugs and we were just fine. We would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stayed. The property was exactly as describe. It’s located in a central area, you definitely need a car to get around the island. The host was very quick to respond and was very accommodating.

Talk about the most amazing seaside views .. we didn't want to leave! We dined outside every night and it couldn't have been more serene. The house and kitchen are well stocked and the hosts responsive. The island is well worth the visit and bioluminescent kayaking is not to be missed! It was hot during our visit so we missed having some A/C but most of the time the ocean breeze was enough to keep us cool. The beach access was a wonderful bonus. We'll be back!

It is an excellent location, quiet, accessible to incredible places on the island and to enjoy. The Airbnb is very nice, comfortable, clean and exceeded my expectations of the rental. I liked it a lot

House was very clean and had lots of amenities, including beach chairs. It is not a very big house but enough places to sleep for the 8 of us. Houses are close together but you do have lots of beautiful landscaping that keeps you kind of secluded. If you are a light sleeper you should where earplugs at night with all the roosters and other animal sounds at night. All the horses on the island were cool to watch. Close to restaurants, bars and most activities. Host was great and very responsive.

Paul and Gwen’s place is beautiful and centrally located - within minutes to Caracas beach, Sun Bay and Esperanza. The apartment is comfortable, fully-equipped and very breezy. The pool is 10/10! Paul is a great host, he welcomed us at their place which made the check-in process way more easy. We fully recommend renting one of Paul’s car, it’s a great deal!

Beautiful home with gorgeous sunrise view. Wonderful pool- and open layout of main house. Perfect island living. Kitchen is very well stocked. Restaurants and Esperanza 10 minute drive. Perfect

Fantastic home. It’s a one of a kind. Great for 4 couples. Individual suites! Perfect for older kids and parents. We had two families- one boy each. Host - Susan is excellent!! Pool and home - Rockstar style. They truly thought of everything. Great parking. We all agreed we would stay here again! Each room controls their own AC too. Same goes for the kitchen and the entertainment room. Plus 2 offices with good WiFi. Views are amazing. Nothing like it on the island. You get morning sunrises and sunsets!!

Our family of five was happy to stay at Villa Iguana. The family was able to enjoy their well maintained property and it was convenient to town, while being private. Hosts Patricia and Melvin were responsive, as was their property manager on the island.

We had a fantastic stay with Bravos Boyz in Vieques! The setup of the house was incredibly well thought out—equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Every detail made it feel like a true getaway. The experience overall was seamless and memorable. Highly recommend!

The entire process of booking, all the way through departure, was seamless. The host and property manager always responded quickly. This property rental comes with a digital guidebook which we referenced many times during our trip. The guidebook will automatically link your location with Google maps and we found it to be essential in our navigation. The property is exactly as pictured in the photos. The way this property blends the outside with the inside is what completely sold me. My husband and I traveled with our two children, both in their late teens, and there was plenty of space to give everyone privacy yet the downstairs open space between the kitchen, living room and pool allowed us to completely mesh. The kitchen was well equipped, the sleeping spaces were quite comfortable, and the pool/grounds were immaculate. The location was perfect— only a 10-15 minute drive to Esperanza or Isabel. I would not hesitate to recommend and I hope that we are fortunate enough to return!

We have stayed on Vieques for over 15 years and this house is one of the best. There are so many thoughtful touches that I haven’t found elsewhere- such as small rugs next to the beds, charging cords on every bedside table and an extra rack in the bathroom to hang our wet bathing suits. The layout of the house is perfect and we enjoyed the pool, and outdoor dinners listening to nature, while watching the star. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Berto was very friendly and helpful. He showed us around and we could see that he was very proud of working there. We asked for restaurant recommendations and also for a chef to come cook for us traditional Puerto Rican food. Berto recommended Nanette and she was very pleasant and even taught us how to cook the dishes she made for our family. Everything was delicious and it made us feel like family. One of the days an iguana came into the swimming pool while the kids were swimming and ended up pooping inside the pool. We called Berto right away and he came and removed all of the “debris” and our family was able to continue enjoying the pool again. The view from the patio and infinity pool was espectacular. We could see Culebra Island and St. Thomas from outside. We recommend staying here.
