I cannot say enough about Jo as a host. She welcomed me into her home with such kindness and warmth. Fantastic conversationalist and the best introduction to life in Australia I could hope for. Sofia’s house is neat and attractive inside. The bathrooms were appealing with excellent showers. The bedrooms were large. The mattresses in the front two bedrooms were quite firm. The oven and stove top worked well. There was a small but well chosen selection of cooking utensils. We particularly liked the cleaver with its broad, sharp blade. We thought the addition of wine glasses and mugs (there were cups and saucers) would be welcome. There was air con in the lounge which worked well. The yard was great for our chihuahua. A couple of issues arose but Sofia responded immediately and rectified them. Overall we were very happy with our stay at Sofia’s.

Minimal Suburban Retreat near Airport

The Airbnb was in a lovely location, and the host was kind enough to let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The space had a lot of potential, but it was a bit less clean than expected, and there were quite a few personal belongings around, which made it feel less private and slightly uncomfortable. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and decluttering, this could be a truly great stay. Thanks again for having us!
