Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Estreito da Calheta

One of the best Airbnb experiences: the place is not only immaculate and well-equipped, but it actually feels like home. The interior is a mix of modern and traditional and the outdoor garden is a haven of peace. The host's parents welcomed us with traditional cake and invited us to pick veggies from their garden. This is not a cheap Airbnb that panders to tourists; it's a real place in a small village, close to everything. The Calheta beach, Levada do Risco and, 25 Fontes are all within a 15-minute drive. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

Mieszkanie było bardzo czyste, dobrze wyposażone. Pani Rita podczas pobytu dbała aby niczego nam nie zabrakło. Z balkonu jest ładny widok na zachody słońca. Samo mieszkanie znajduje się w centralnej części wyspy co ułatwia jej swobodne zwiedzanie. Jedyny niewielki minus to dość ruchliwa droga przy budynku. Pomimo to pobyt oceniamy na 5+

Paul do Mar on unelias kalastajakylä. Meri on aivan kylän edessä ja voit kuulla aallot sisään ja se onkin sitten jokseenkian ainoa ääni mitä asunnon ulkopuolelta kuulet. Asunto on kolmessa tasossa, ylhäällä pyykinpesu ja suojaisa terass. Keskimmmäisessä kerroksessa makuuhuoine ja kylpyhuone. Alakerrassa eteinen, olohuone ja keittiö. Asunto on todella siisti ja siellä on kaikki tarvittava vaikka pidempiaikaseenkin oleiluun, keittiö on poikeuksellisen hyvin varusteltu. Tein töitä ja Wifi toimi mainiosti. Kävin myös joka päivä uimassa ja snorklaamassa. Kylästä lähtee muutama erittäin mukava ja vaihteleva vaelluspolku - varaudu jyrkkään nousuun (ja laskuun) Kylässä on muutama keskinkertainen ravintola ja isommat kauppaostokset kannattaa käydä tekemässälähimmässä Continentessä (20 min autolla. Lähiravintolan edessä käy päivittäin leipäauto, jossa aivan huikea leivosvalikoima :) Tämä asunto on yksi parhaista missä olen ikinä majoittunut 5/5

Ein tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage! Näher am Meer geht nicht und das Meeresrauschen begleitet einen Tag und Nacht. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super sauber. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause! Constantino ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat tolle Tipps. Ohne ihn hätten wir den kleinen Strand in Seixal nie gefunden... Wir waren 14 Tage hier und haben jede Minute genossen. Danke, Constantino!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit herrlicher Aussicht aufs Meer hinunter. Sehr schön waren auch die vielen Pflanzen in und an der Unterkunft. Sie ist ruhig gelegen und es empfiehlt sich ein Mietwagen (Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus). Zum Wandern ist die Lage großartig, in der Nähe gibt einen Einstieg zu einen der Levadas von Madeira. Wer fit ist, kann sogar direkt nach Rabaçal, Risco und 25 Fontes aufsteigen. Silvia war sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation war sehr schnell. Ich habe meinen Urlaub sehr sehr genossen.

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

We had a really good time at Claudia's appartment, the location is perfect for visiting the whole Madeira island, peaceful and with amazing views. The pool will heal all your hiking pain!

Nous avons séjourné 13 nuits chez Fatima. Nous n'avons jamais eu de logement aussi propre ! Certe le logement est humide mais Fatima fait en sorte que l'on soit le plus à l'aise possible (draps de rechange, serviettes en grande quantité etc.). L'appartement est très bien équipé, nous n'avons manqué de rien. La vue est splendide ! Fatima et sa famille savent nous accueillir, ce sont des personnes d'une grande gentillesse et très réactives lors de nos demandes. Le seul point négatif, mais qui est minime face à tout le potentiel du logement est l'isolement sonore. Le plafond n'est qu'un plancher et nous pouvons entendre Fatima et sa famille marcher si nous restons la journée à l'appartement. Le bruit ne nous a jamais réveillé ni empêché de nous endormir. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés ce logement et nous savons maintenant où loger si nous avons l'occasion de revenir visiter la magnifique île de Madère.

Apartamento totalmente equipado, lavadora,plancha , horno etc , limpieza impecable , ubicación con encanto con unas vistas peculiares a un cementerio abajo de la montaña y al mar , supermercado cerca y tienes dos restaurantes en la zona donde ir a probar la comida que es exquisita . Totalmente recomendado.

Beautiful patio overlooking the ocean with sunshine in the morning and the afternoon. Convenient place to stay if you have rented a car! Would definitely recommend!

à notre arrivée nous avons été très bien accueilli par Ana. Elle nous a tout expliqué et nous avons même pu arriver un peu en avance dans l'appartement. Elle nous a donné des conseils de visite, de restaurant, et aussi elle nous a indiqué le supermarché le plus proche. Ana a été au top !!! L'appartement est parfait, il y a tout ce qu'il faut même encore plus que ce qu'on avait imaginé. Merci pour tout! Nous avons pu profiter à fond de cette île magnifique . Et Gabriel a passer quasiment toute ses soirées dans la piscine 😄 merci encore de notre part à tous les 3

Beautiful apartment nestled in the village of Jardim Do Mar. Had it not been for finding this AirBnB, we probably would not have found the area, but thankfully we did and got to experience the peaceful and calming village. Check in was really simple and was a matter of messaging Germano once arriving at the location. Germano’s dad is on hand and was the person who checked us in - he is very friendly. The apartment is a great value to say you have an almost private pool (shared with the apartment next door). We were given a bottle of red wine, a bowl of fresh fruit and a Poncha was ordered for us at the local bar, all were nice touches and made our stay feel special. I would definitely recommend the apartment!

Die Unterkunft bietet einen Parkplatz, atemberaubende Aussicht und in der Küche ist alles zu finden, was man zum kochen braucht. Ebenfalls sehr sauber - somit alles super und man bekommt, was die Bilder versprechen

Logement impeccable, terrasse au top c'est vraiment un + Barbecue disponible très agréable ! Petit bémol sur la literie et sur l'odeur de renfermé présente dans la maison. Attention, parking en haut d'une pente très raide, difficile d'accès depuis la route...

This apartment has a very good vibe! Would definitely recommend or choose again! You can watch and listen to the waves which makes it even more amazing. It is simple, pure and clean, towels were big and had a great scent. Pillows were good quality and very comfortable. There is a restaurant (and by the way very good restaurant) in the neighborhood, it’s not disturbing, there’s no music or shouting but there is some business in the evening until guests leave around 9pm.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Apartment :)! Es ist sehr zentral gelegen und alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Dachterrasse war ein besonderes Highlight. Vielen Dank für die vielen Tipps!

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.

Pobyt w apartamencie u Jennifer uważam za jeden z lepszych w jakich byłam. Nasza grupa czuła sie w mieszkaniu bardzo komfortowo, mieliśmy dużo miejsca i każdy mógł swobodnie spędzić czas. Widok z balkonu byl świetny, widok na ocean i okoliczne plantacje bananów cieszyło nasze oczy. Posiłki przygotowywaliśmy sami w kuchni, która była w pełni wyposażona oraz było bardzi dużo naczyń i sztućców. W pokoju z grillem i bilardem super spędzaliśmy wieczory, każdy znalazl coś dla siebie ;) Bardzo polecam pobyt u Jennifer, najlepsza opcja jaka można spotkać na wyspie. Pozdrawiam i życzę każdym nowym gościom cudownie spędzonego czasu na tej pięknej. wyspie
