A good lodge location to tour Normandy if you have a car. I like the small private yard and green surrounding. The unit was equipped well with all essentials. The wash machine is a plus. Very easy to communicate with Julie. Thanks for the great hosting!

In one word: paradise! In addition to the absolutely extraordinary hospitality and kindness of Albane and Julien, the quality of the cottage and the park that surrounds it, which has marked us the most and which we particularly appreciated is the calm that reigns in this place almost out of time. That being said, enjoying the pool, lunch in the sun, contemplating the river flowing peacefully, listening to the wind in the trees, snuggling into the cocoon that this mill is once dark, also delighted us. It's simple: at the time of writing this review, I hesitate to publish it as the desire to return is strong and the fear that it is available is present.

We had an exceptional stay at Amaury with 13 people, among friends. The house is beautiful, spacious and perfectly suited to accommodate a large group. Everyone was able to fully enjoy the many activities offered: swimming pool, tennis court, badminton, foosball, table tennis... There was something for everyone! The interior is warm, very well equipped, with comfortable bedding, a large friendly kitchen and a superb seating area. Amaury was an available, discreet, attentive, and always responsive host to our requests. We leave with wonderful memories and will not hesitate to come back! A big thank you!

Two weeks in paradise! Maison UMI is a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its beauty, charm, and tranquility. The house is immaculate. A perfect mix of rustic elegance and modern comfort. Every room is bright, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a peaceful place to unwind. The pool was a highlight. Pristine, sun soaked, and surrounded by idyllic countryside views. We spent hours floating and relaxing under the blue sky. In a huge secure garden which our mini dachshund enjoyed exploring safely. The location is superb: nestled in picturesque countryside, yet just a short drive from charming villages. With Shops and supermarkets also close by for anything you need. Our host, Sanouchka, was exceptional, warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful, making us feel more like guests in a friend’s home. Bonus delight: adorable geese at the end of the garden added a touch of whimsy. Maison UMI isn’t just a stay, it’s an unforgettable experience.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful home. The garden and pool is really special and the house feels clean, modern and stylish. It’s really well stocked with plenty of essentials and extras. Stephane, Anais and Aurore were very responsive throughout and were flexible when our departure was a little delayed due to travelling with a newborn. We barely left the pool but the area has lots of great villages to explore. The local village vending machine with baguettes and croissants is great fun. Will definitely come back!

We had such an amazing stay here, Valerie is such a wonderful host, who was very thoughtful and attentive to detail, Even leaving us a bottle of alcohol as a gift and being very helpful in making sure we had anything we may need for our stay. The Cottage was gorgeous and the garden was perfect for our dog. Our dog did not want to leave. We loved the heated pool too!. It was the perfect stay. We hope to come back, Thankyou Valerie

Francois made us feel at home straight away, his English was good although we like to communicate in French. He showed us his lovely home which was more like a lived in home than a Airbnb. Which made it much more homely. There were some lovely touches like goodies on the table for us. There was plenty of outdoor space although the weather was rather chilly. Francois provided good bikes which were in the barn next door along with a ping pong table and barbecue. There was a local village 2.5 K away with a fabulous Boulangerie, and the town of Verneuil sur Avre nearby which was stunning!

Beautiful accommodation in a renovated old half-timbered house, in a beautiful garden. Excellent contact with the owner. Small village, few facilities, but close (another village) completely OK. Highly recommended for peace and quiet and fun visits. Giverny (Monet's gardens) can be reached in about 20 minutes.

I highly recommend you choose this beautiful house. This experience was perfect from start to finish. Laura is a wonderful host, always available and attentive. The house is simply perfect, the games inside and outside made our children happy. The house was clean and perfectly tidy. All amenities were functional. Thanks again to Laura for letting us spend such a nice time in this little gem.

What a gorgeous place! Eva’s home and gardens are lovely and peaceful, exactly as described. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for our family of 4, and beautifully furnished, with thoughtful attention to detail in every regard. The village is an easy drive to Giverny, too. We feel so lucky to have stayed here!

We had a great weekend. The accommodation is pleasant, bright and very quiet (special mention to the birdsong🐦‍⬛). In addition to the very nice decor, it is necessary to emphasize the extreme cleanliness of the place (and God knows that my wife is demanding😅). The bathroom is modern, the hot water tank has a small autonomy but you have to think about the planet 🌍 One small tip to further optimize this incredible accommodation, a blind on the front door would offer more privacy and reduce light in the morning☀️. Laura and Thibault were very pleasant and responsive, we will be happy to come back🤩

A hidden gem by the Seine We absolutely loved our stay in Jumièges – everything was simply perfect. The house is charming and comfortable, nestled in a peaceful, green setting right by the Seine. Watching my girls play in the garden with the river as their backdrop while I read my favorite book felt like a scene from a dream – quiet, healing, and deeply comforting. Balthus the donkey quickly became a friend to all of us (especially the girls!), and Naya and Gino were the sweetest companions. Pascal is an incredibly thoughtful and warm host. He provided us with clear, detailed guidance and local tips that helped us truly make the most of our stay. This place is a perfect base to explore the gems of Normandy – Honfleur, Étretat, Rouen, the Abbey of Jumièges and more. Every day brought a new discovery, and every evening brought us peace. This will definitely be my go-to hideaway any time I’m near Paris. Thank you, Pascal, for sharing this magical corner of the world with us 🍀☘️❤️💫

We had a very good week at Julie and Clément's. Parking always available in front of the entrance door at any time. Very quiet for sleeping, no noise, the patio is great for coffee or meals. Nathalie and Stephane’s guesthouse was perfect for our trip to visit the Monet gardens and surrounding area. The design is modern and cozy, and we enjoyed relaxing in the garden. Nathalie and Stephane are wonderful hosts too and went out of their way to make our stay special - they recommended a lovely walk nearby along a creek and invited our son to play in their backyard. It felt like a home away from home, and we would definitely stay with them again if we come back to the area!

We had a great time a beautiful place in a peaceful and superb setting. A home of exemplary cleanliness. home cinema, jacuzzi, sauna... "paradise" We will be back!

My wife and I stayed for a weekend at Fabienne's place designed by her husband. What can I say? The welcome was exceptional, as much as her husband. They are extremely friendly, very attentive to our needs. They welcomed us with warmth and friendliness. The space was sublime,decorated with elegance and taste. It was very clean and very functional. The place was quiet and peaceful. The beautiful terrace. We will be happy to stay there and can only recommend it because really everything has been thought out for you to have a good weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at the presbytery with the family. The setting is idyllic, the house beautifully decorated, the beds very comfortable and the garden sumptuous. In short, everything was perfect and we can't wait to come back. Thanks to Jean-Michel's valuable advice, we even discovered crayfish fishing.

Perfect house for a weekend in the countryside 1 hour from Paris. The house is neat and warm and the garden perfect for children. Lots of activities in the area on the good advice of Marion! We had a great time and highly recommend it!
