What we’ll do

We will meet at Equator Coffee in downtown Mill Valley to plan out our hike, then we will begin along the famous Dipsea Trail, reach a peak that looks out over the Pacific Ocean, come back thru Muir Woods (home to some of the largest redwood trees in the world), then finish back for lunch at Mill Valley Beerworks (time permitting). This hike is a local favorite and I look forward to sharing it…

Where you'll be

The Dipsea Trail runs from Mill Valley all the way to the Pacific Ocean, crossing through stunning California landscapes. The trail consists of 688 steps (in the first mile) and long uphill stretches for nearly 2,000 feet in total elevation gain. Dedicated to John Muir (the father of the national parks) in 1908, Muir Woods is a redwood forest along the Pacific coast that offers views unlike any other.
