I'm a Kitsuke-Shi.
*Definition of Kitsuke-Shi:The professional person in terms of Kimono. The person has a skill to teach and help how to wear it properly and correctly.

My grand parents ran Kimono shop.
For that reason, since I was young I got familiar with it.

I would like to spread out Kimono to all of the foreigners.

Unfortunately, I'm not a native English speaker. However, I'm willing to study English and improve my English Skill!

The kimono looks really stunning! The meeting spot is located in Shinjuku which is a central area in Tokyo and very convenient to get to. The host is nice to talk with and took a lot of photographs for my all along our way. I took a cultural walk in the beautiful kimono for more than one hours and tasted amazing Matcha. I wouldn’t be able to do this on my own. Def recommend!

Seina is a very good host. She is very kind and has a lot of kimono knowledge. Her kimono is the real thing Japanese wear at special times. She taught me some spots in Kagulazaka. I especially like shrines. I really really recommend!!!

If you are in Tokyo and want to try a very special kimono wearing experience, Seina's studio is absolutely the place to go! I paid a but extra for the homongi, and it was completely worth it! The kimono is tied on by a professional obe dresser and the host styled my hair. Then we walked around the neighborhood and took photos in the surrounding neighborhoods. If you love fashion and Japanese culture this is absolutely for you. This was truly a memorable experience, thank you Seina and the other ladies that helped make my experience so special!

Where do I start 🤔 Well first of all not Seina, but another girl was hosting the experience, I didn’t remember the name, I’m sorry. I didn’t expect there to be other hosts when I was booking, as far as I know nothing like that was mentioned in the description. Also from the description of the experience you expect a kimono shop but instead it’s a tiny apartment. Might be an online kimono shop though :) The range of kimonos to choose from is wide and impressive, also the girl who dressed me up did a great job helping me to choose everything because it was quite hard for me to do it quickly enough and with such a lack of space. I did top up for the homongi and therefore it became the most expensive kimono experience I’ve had so far (I had seven during my trip). Dressing up was super rushed, and also missed some important steps with adding volume and changing the silhouette, which I can now definitely see from the pictures we took. It looks very messy, which it shouldn’t - with homongi being a formal type of kimono. I’m guessing this might be avoided if Seina hosted the experience herself. Oh yes, also being dressed and undressed was in front of a window (very tiny apartment, remember?) with no curtains and with a clear view on the windows on another side of the street. When I mentioned it, nothing was done about it, they just let me change into hadajuban in the toilet. Well, thank you. This totally changes the situation, considering hadajuban is quite transparent. I like the hairstyle that was made, it was a good job considering my hair is quite short. It has also been completely remade to my preferences. Doesn’t help the situation with kimono though. I am 100% sure this is not how a formal kimono should look like on a lady. The walk itself was quite rushed too, and I had a constant feeling like the host wanted to get rid of me and my photographer as soon as possible. She almost didn’t talk to us and walked very fast. It’s hard to walk fast in kimono in case you didn’t know. All in all it was the worst kimono experience I had, but for the most money. My photographer will now have loads of work photoshopping the wrinkles off kimono, and all the kimono parts to the right places. It would be fine I guess, if not the high expectations I made from the high price and description of this experience as super professional.
