What you'll do

We will start out from the train station of Lanzo, where I will hand out the drawing equipment. We start walking towards the Devil`s bridge, which is the first stop for drawing. Then we take the trail up to the centre of the town and we make a drawing of the famous medieval tower. Afterwards, we will visit a typical shop of local products before we go for an aperitif at Bar Turcet. In Lanzo you can buy typical local products, like grissini (breadsticks), torcetti (sweet biscuits) and Toma di Lanzo (local cheese). In the end, we walk back to the train station.

Where you'll be

The Devil´s Bridge (Ponte del Diavolo) was built in 1378 to connect Lanzo to Turin. Thanks to this bridge they could avoid passing in the territories of the enemies of Savoy. The tower "Aymone of Challant" (1329-1357) were spared while the famous castle got destroyed by the French troops around 1556. The cafè and confectionery Torcet is an important part of the historic town, just like the small pasta factory near the tower.
