What you'll do
Welcome to PO TOI, You will be visiting a pearl in the sea, make a breathtaking Hike, visit small isolated beaches, and we may try seafood / calamari local restaurant. The “South Pole of Hong Kong” is composed of well-weathered granite and is renowned for its seaweed (bring home its very famous dried seafood products). PO TOI is a remote Island close to HK. However, there is very few boats available to go there. Being ON TIME is of paramount importance. Careful: There are eateries near the pier, though no replenishments are available along the hiking trail !!!
Hello, Originally from France, I live in Hong Kong and fall in love for the Southern Part. I have spent years exploring the area and I am still amazed by the beauty of the nature there. I live in Stanley now and I am a passionate hiker that wander on all the trail, especially the lost remote Island almost unchecked despite the proximity. Hong Kong is amazing in contrast where you will find plain and undiscovered Nature 30 minutes from Skylines. I would love to share my passion for these Islands. Especially the first one I am going to offer: PO TOI
I will buy the Ferry ticket to make the Hike in PO TOI
Where you'll be
Overall: Discovering an amazing remote island at 3km of HK. Enjoying walking alone in the trail and look at the Ocean while trying to guess where is China. What we will see: Historical carvings and rock formations: Turtle Rock, Monk Rock, and Buddha's Palm Old Mo's House where the Japanese stayed during WWII Ngau Wu Teng Pavilion Tin Hau Temple Restaurant: Local seafood Restaurant / HK’s top calamari restaurant (Depending on availability)
