What you'll do

Firstly, you will meet the Unicorn Alpaca Team at the gates of the animals' pen. Here, you'll get a flavour of your animal's personality, habits and a little piece of alpaca history - as well as learning how to walk with your alpaca and to get the best out of your time with him. After taking the lead rope, we'll head off around the farm, according to the sort of walk you want - From an Alpaca Amble around the farm to a longer walk up the airfield and around our specially designed trail. We are sorry but we have a strict NO DOGS policy.
During the walk, You'll be meeting Ralph, the giant rescue pig, our family of little Pygmy goats and a host of chickens, horses and other animals including Albert the Llama, and then hang some wishes on the Wishing Tree.
The most important thing is to arrive a few minutes early. POLITE NOTICE: PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE. The alpacas really don't like to be kept waiting, as well as other walkers who may be joining the group. If you are running late, please could you kindly let us know before the walk time. At the same time, please don’t be too early xxx
Other things to note
Very sorry, but strictly NO DOGS. Please don't stand behind your alpaca as they can occasionally kick, if nervous. Also, don't touch them directly on their head, they love being stroked on their neck! Don't forget to wear appropriate footwear such as wellies if it's wet. Bring rain gear too! x

I'm the co-founder of Unicorn Alpaca Walks based on our Airbnb retreats site in Shipmeadow, near Beccles. I have worked in film production and the Arts and so I understand those with high pressure jobs want a way to relax and retreat back to nature & what better way than a gentle walk with animals. After a brief talk about the alpacas, your guides will head out on the trail exploring the farm & meeting the other animals with an alpaca by your side. It's great fun for all ages. Tie a wish to the wishing tree.

The alpaca walking was such an incredible and unique experience and the girls who took us around were so lovely and knowledgeable. There was also so much more to the experience like meeting the donkeys, goats, chickens, sheep and the most humungous pig I’ve ever seen! Great fun for both kids and adults. We will be back to meet the baby Alpacas in July! xx

We had an absolutely lovely time wandering around with the Alpacas, picked up some info, got lots of strokes and even a kiss or two. What’s more afterwards we got to see the rest of the farm and hear all their stories. Thoroughly recommended to everyone!

Unicorn Alpaca walks were brilliant. I have wanted to do this activity for sometime and Celeste had so much knowledge about the animals that enhanced the enjoyment. We were made very welcome and there was just the three of us I totally fell in love with Fergus, he was such a sweetie. We were three life experienced sisters and Celeste pitched the information perfectly. She obviously has a deep love for her Alpacas and I recommend this to all animal lovers
