What you'll do
You will first visit traditional tea stores and modern tea shops while also seeing different neighborhoods in Amsterdam. A classic transition from old to new.
We will first go to a traditional tea store in the West of Amsterdam where we will drink organic eastern Asian tea. You will learn about the terroir, what types of tea plants there are, the harvesting and processing. A typical tale from tea plant to tea drink.
Then we will visit tea stores with a unique concept where I will tell you about tea blending and brewing. Lastly, we will visit a tea store in the South where you can get your tea themed souvennirs
In almost any group of friends, there is that one person who is fascinated by a subject and likes to share and tell you all about it. I am that person. I’d like to show you where the best tea stores are, in which neighborhoods and show you around my coveted city. Most people describe this as a walking high tea tour in Amsterdam because next with your teas we will enjoy some pastries.
Other things to note
Don't forget to bring your transport card, your smartphone to take pictures, and an umbrella/raincoat (in case it rains).

Hello there,
I love traveling, getting to know global locals, and discovering and drinking different types of tea. If my friends have to describe me, tea will be the first word they'll say. I graduated with a thesis on how a tea and coffee academy can communicate in this digital age. I also have an Instagram about tea.
I live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands which is often called the big city of dreams. Amsterdam is a place I call my home. It's where my bed resides, and I get back to when I have taken a city trip.

Where you'll be
We meet at the center of Amsterdam (Westermarkt) go to West of Amsterdam, and then South of Amsterdam.
Anna was an incredible guide and tea enthusiast. She is a very genuine and friendly person and I really enjoyed our time together. I learned so many interesting facts about the tea culture and history in Amsterdam that I will cherish and share with others. I also got to try a couple different tea varieties I had never heard of. Very happy I went on this experience. Thank you Anna! I'm still enjoying the green tea I got from the tea house we went to!

Anna knows what she's talking about! You will be very hard pressed to find somebody as versed in the science and art of tea,as passionate about tea & as familiar with the authentic tea shops/parlors of Amsterdam as Anna, from traditional Turkish & Asian to tea innovators who serve sexy blends in wine glasses. A delicious & intriguing spectrum of tea that you can bring home from your trip & continue to enjoy. It was also a great way to get to know minority communities of Amsterdam. Talk & walk tea with Anna, you'll be glad you did!

I had an amazing time on this tea tour. Every time I visit a new city I love to see what tea shops I can find and this tour gave me a chance to do that and much more. Anna has an extensive knowledge of tea and is able to adapt the tour to each individuals prior knowledge and specific interests within the tea world. Both the teas and the dessert were delicious, and the stores we visited were unique and interesting as was the information she provided about Amsterdam and it’s neighborhoods. On top of everything she is very friendly and great to have a conversation with. The tour was a highlight of my trip and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes tea or wants to learn more about it!

We learned so much about the history of tea and had an opportunity to sample some delicious and unique teas. We really appreciated that Ana took us around on public transportation, which helped us to acclimate to city as well. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun afternoon in Amsterdam!

Anna was fantastic. My favorite stop was the authentic Chinese Tea house. If you‘re looking for gifts and souvenirs, there’s one stop on the tour that provides gift wrapping.... Anna will know which one ;)
I definitely recommend this experience.
