And what’s more fun than enjoying all of these with an intimate bike outing! After we return the bike, we will visit one of the largest wet markets in Hong Kong, handpick some of the freshest seafood from the vendors and go to a local restaurant where they will prepare a hearty meal for us.
Other things to note

A food & culture columnist and founder of Running Panda Hong Kong Private Tours (Find me on instagram @runningpandahk ). More known among my local friends as a “human GPS dot HK”.

Growing up from a chefs family, working as a columnist and a local guide, I enjoy discovering stories not only about food but all the more about people. I love good discussions and I’d love to share with you all the interesting things about where you and I have been living. I’m fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese but languages are only one of the many ways of communications. ;)

A fantastic experience, I would recommend to everyone. Ashley was so knowledgeable about the history and recent developments of the area and was so friendly and easy going. The ride was easygoing and comfortable. (The bikes provided were very basic male mountain bikes, so it took some getting used to, but it wasn't a problem). The ride was on protected cycling infrastructure the whole way and felt safe. Great views, lots of great stops to talk about the area and the temple rituals, and included multiple bathroom stops. It was amazing to have Ashley pick fresh seafood (and see all the range of amazing seafood) and then have the hawker stand upstairs cook it immediately. Thank you Ashley, we had a great time!

Ashley was a great guide. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of Hong Kong. We learnt about its history, people, culture and food! We loved the seafood experience, Ashley selected fresh seafood and then had the hawkers cook it for us. Beer or soft drink to wash it down! Three very happy Aussie ladies! Great Airbnb experience.

Ashley was amazing. She hosted my group as a native Cantonese speaker and translated the entire tour into the Mandarin and English. She brought us to beautiful areas. She was patient with less experienced bike riders (i.e. myself) and the food was amazing. I also didn't have data and she helped me secure a cab home. She was a pleasure. My only critique is that the starting location was much further than I thought given that I vacationed on the Hong Kong main island. We were very close to Shenzhen by the end of the tour.

This was an excellent small group tour. Ashley leads a leisurely bike ride in areas that I would have been unlikely to explore on my own. My favorite part was the super fresh seafood lunch that was very easily the best meal I had during my stay in Hong Kong.
