You will be a student falconer for an hour and experience the thrill to have a trained hawk land on and take off from your glove. You'll learn the basics of falconry (a bit of training, equipment and rules) while helping us put one of our birds through their daily routine. We'll free fly them over the beautiful Torrey Pines cliffs, we will talk about the ecology and conservation of birds of prey, and you'll get the coolest picture/selfie holding a hawk. My hope is to send you home at the end of the experience with a newfound, or perhaps a renewed, love for these majestic predators and their environment.
