We had a wonderful guided tour of old Dubai. Guide Shuoq, a local emirati lady was very knowledgeable about the whole area, general history, and modern society. Her english was excellent, good sense of humour and did not rush us in anyway. Highly recommended this unique, and authentic experience. Dubai is so fast paced, with a huge influx of people, is rare to have the opportunity to interact with locals on a personal level.

This Airbnb experience is very special and the best travel endeavour you can have either on the first or the last day in Dubai. You can also take it in between but you will be surrounded by love of Emirati people to have their passion in showing the wealth of their cultural heritage and history. I felt welcomed to Emirati culture and felt I could ask any question I always had in my mind when I was walking around Dubai wondering about the cultural differences here. I have learned a lot of new words and names that were critical in the establishment of the country, strategic and trade development of the Dubai state. You feel at home at this tour. I had been given very delicious food and was transferred by the very unique and traditional boats over the Creek Canal. It was beautiful. I saw lots of gold and other products at the local market of all sorts of things coming from the surrounding regions. Heba and her sister Shouq have designed the most amazing experience that is generous from the perspective of the authenticity. Now I know how to serve Arabic coffee in the way people would feel dignity and respect. This very brief tour has made an amazing contribution to my soul wanting to come back to Dubai again and learn further about the wast beauty of the Emirati culture and people. Lots of pleasant emotions. Thank you so much Heba and Shouq! Cheers, Oleg

Would highly recommend this tour - especially if you only have a few hours in Dubai. Heba's sister (Souq ? not sure of spelling, apologies) was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city, and explained various cultural aspects so well that my 11 year old said, " that was really fun Mom!" I particularly enjoyed the coffee explanation and demonstration. And a particular thanks to the gentleman who attended as well, for helping my husband purchase an item in the souk. 1st time I tried an Airbnb Experience - totally worth it! Thanks!

Highly recommend seeing the old parts of Dubai and touring with Heba (or her sister who gave me the tour). I enjoyed learning about how the Emirati people lived and seeing some new places I would not have discovered on my own.
