What you'll do
Stand up paddleboard yoga is an exciting way to experience Honolulu from a whole new perspective - on the water! Whether it's your very first yoga class, or you are an experienced yogi, our SUP yoga classes are for you.
We anchor our SUP yoga boards in water that is about waist-deep, and flow through a slow and gentle (and at times challenging) yoga practice. This all-levels classes offers variations so everyone is able to work at their own ability level.
Taking yoga to the water challenges your balance and stability, making it an excellent core workout. It encourages us to slow down, be mindful, and move with intention. There is also a strong element of play as we challenge ourselves and sometimes fall in. But not to worry, the warm, Hawaiian waters are very inviting!
Other things to note:
Wear a bathing suit and/or yoga clothes that can get wet and a towel. Please don't bring unnecessary valuables to the beach. There will be a place to store personal items while on the water.

Aloha! My name is Kelsey. I am the founder of Yoga Floats, a SUP yoga business located in Honolulu, Hawaii. I love playing in the ocean - whether it's swimming, surfing, or paddling. I also am an avid yogi, and discovered SUP yoga to be the perfect way to combine my passions while enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the Hawaiian waters.

Where you'll be
We meet at Magic Island, at Ala Moana Beach Park. We have a big white van that says 'Yoga Floats' which is usually easy to spot in the parking lot. We are near the lifeguard tower 1E.

Kelsey was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time on doing this and it was on my bucket list to get it done. Kelsey did just that! It was just her and I and she taught me a lot on and showed me how to keep my balance. She also gave me a lot of praise so I felt more confident and comfortable in doing the poses. This is a must-do! The location is fantastic, the workout is fun and challenging, and the instructor is caring and so friendly! They take tons of pictures throughout class and share them afterwards. Whether or not you’ve done yoga or paddle-boarded, this is a highly recommended activity!
