What you'll do

We will learn how to effectively communicate with a semi-nude model and create flattering portraiture work using studio or natural lighting. We will specifically work on portraits and body lighting. Experiencers will learn about professional studio lighting vs. natural, and shadows, angles, body structures, forms/shapes of the human torso with a semi-nude model etc. From these examples, you will then apply it to your own portrait taking skills.

First there will be a session where the model is nude and I, the photographer, will demonstrate picture taking skills with you. Our model will afterwards be dressed again for you to take pictures using your newly learnt skills.

The photo studio is located in a creative neighborhood on Hollywood Road.

As the model will be semi-nude, we invite guests who are comfortable with nudity.
Other things to note
Participators won't be able to take pictures of the model in the first half of the session but observe and learn about techniques.
Pictures can be taken in the second half when the model is dressed.

Where you'll be

We will first meet up at the cafe across from my studio where we will grab a quick coffee or tea before heading to the workshop in my beautiful studio located in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong's most creative neighborhood.

Studio is spacious and bright and welcoming.
